पीड़ित महिला कमलेश ने बताया कि वह बहुत गरीब है। उसके रहने के लिए एक ही कमरा है। उसकी छत जर्जर हाल है छत कभी भी गिर सकती है। अब तो छत के नीचे वे सोने से भी डरते हैं। ऐसे हालात में वे कहा जाएं। उन्होंने सरकार, उपायुक्त व नगरपालिका अधिकारियों से मांग की कि उनके घर का सर्वें कर प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत उसके घर की छत को दोबारा बनवाया जाए ताकि उनके सिर पर छत हो। महिला कमलेश ने बताया कि उसने 25 जून 2017 को आवेदन किया था। जिसका क्रमांक नम्बर 1352 है। उसका फार्म किराए का मकान दिखाए जाने के कारण आवेदन रद कर दिया। जब कि उसका अपना मकान है।
नगरपालिका के अधिकारी पीएमएवाई के एक्सपर्ट प्रियव्रत ने बताया कि महिला का लिस्ट में नाम देखकर ही कुछ बताया जा सकता है। जून 2017 में सरकार ने डिमांड सर्वें करवाया था। उसमें कुछ शर्त लगाई थी। यासी कंपनी ने सर्वें किया था। उस समय जो सर्वे किया उस लिस्ट के बाद ही योजना को लाभ मिला। शहर के 652 लोगों को योजना का लाभ लेने के लिए नाम है।
