नई दिल्ली: पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव 2021 में भारी जीत के बाद, तृणमूल कांग्रेस (टीएमसी) एक पार्टी के रूप में अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर अपनी पहुंच बढ़ा रही है। अब खबर आ रही है कि पूर्व सांसद और कांग्रेस नेता कीर्ति आजाद के आज टीएमसी में शामिल होने की संभावना है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक ममता बनर्जी की मौजूदगी में दरभंगा के पूर्व सांसद कीर्ति आजाद को टीएमसी में शामिल होना है. पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के चार दिवसीय दौरे पर हैं। सूत्र बताते हैं कि कीर्ति आजाद टीएमसी नेताओं के संपर्क में हैं।

दिल्ली के क्रिकेट निकाय डीडीसीए में कथित अनियमितताओं के लिए तत्कालीन वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली की खुलेआम आलोचना करने के बाद कीर्ति आजाद भाजपा से कांग्रेस पार्टी में चले गए थे। वह पार्टी द्वारा वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता अरुण जेटली के खिलाफ बगावत करने के लिए थे। आजाद ने 2014 के लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान बिहार की दरभंगा सीट से चुनाव लड़ा था और जीत हासिल की थी। 2014 में बाहर होने से पहले, वह 1999 और 2009 में भी इसी सीट से सांसद चुने गए थे।
2017 में कीर्ति आजाद की पत्नी ने भी छोड़ी बीजेपी:
2017 में, कीर्ति आज़ाद की पत्नी पूनम आज़ाद ने बीजेपी छोड़ दी और आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हो गईं। इसके बाद वह 2018 में कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गईं। वह लंबे समय तक भाजपा की प्रवक्ता रहीं और पार्टी की दिल्ली इकाई की उपाध्यक्ष भी रहीं।
