गन्नौर विधान सभा क्षेत्र से 2008 में विधायक का चुनाव लड़ने वाले और विख्यात समाज सेवी वर्तमान में जननायक जनता पार्टी के वयोवृद्ध नेता श्रीकृष्ण गोपाल त्यागी का रविवार को निधन हो गया। वे 81 वर्ष के थे।

उनके ज्येष्ठ पुत्र अनिल त्यागी ने बताया कि हृदय गति रुकने से उनका निधन हुआ है। वे आखरी सवासं तक लोगेां के मध्य रहे कई संस्थाओं को उनका सांनिध्य मिला, समाज सेवा के लिए खास पहचान रखी और उनके पुत्र सुनील त्यागी ले बताया कि उनको मानव सेवा में जीवन लगा। रविवार को विभिन्न समाज सेवियों ने राजनेताओं ने शिक्षा संस्था प्रबंधकों ने दिव्य आतमा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की उनका संस्कार गन्नौर के शमशान घाट में किया गया।
