उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व राज्यपाल अजीज कुरैशी पर उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस ने रविवार को मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ और उनकी सरकार के खिलाफ कथित अपमानजनक टिप्पणी के लिए देशद्रोह का मामला दर्ज किया है।
रामपुर: उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व राज्यपाल अजीज कुरैशी पर उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस ने रविवार को मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ और उनकी सरकार के खिलाफ कथित अपमानजनक टिप्पणी के लिए देशद्रोह का मामला दर्ज किया है। अजीज कुरैशी आजम खान के घर रामपुर विधायक और खान की पत्नी तंजीम फातिमा से मिलने गए थे, जहां उन्होंने कथित तौर पर मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ और भाजपा सरकार की तुलना “शैतान और खून चूसने वाले राक्षसों” से की थी।
यूपी पुलिस ने रामपुर जिले के सिविल लाइंस थाने में भाजपा कार्यकर्ता आकाश सक्सेना की शिकायत के आधार पर अजीज कुरैशी के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज की है। प्राथमिकी की प्रति के अनुसार, पूर्व राज्यपाल के खिलाफ धारा 124ए (देशद्रोह), 153ए (धर्म, नस्ल के आधार पर समूहों के बीच शत्रुता को बढ़ावा देना), 153बी (आरोप, राष्ट्रीय एकता के लिए हानिकारक दावे) और 505(1)( बी) भारतीय दंड संहिता (आईपीसी) के (जनता के बीच भय या अलार्म पैदा करने का इरादा)।
