‘कीपिंग अप विद द कार्दशियंस’ स्टार किम कार्दशियन सबसे मशहूर ग्लोबल सिलेब्रिटीज में से शुमार है। वह एक फैशन आइकन भी हैं। लोगों का गुस्सा इस वजह से भी ज्यादा है कि किम को लाखों-करोड़ों लोग फॉलो करते हैं। सोशल मीडिया यूजर्स ने किम पर हिंदू धर्म की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाने का आरोप लगाया है।
किम कार्दशियन ने ट्विटर पर अपने इस नए फोटोशूट की तस्वीरें शेयर की हैं। इनमें उन्होंने रेड ड्रेस के साथ फ्लोरल जैकेट कैरी किया है। किम लाल रंग के बिस्तर पर लेटी हुई हैं और सिल्वर कलर के काफी बड़े ईयरिंग्स पहने हुए नजर आ रही हैं। इन ईयररिंग्स पर ‘ओम’ शब्द का डिजाइन बना हुआ है। ‘ऊं’ शब्द की हिंदू धर्म में गहरी मान्यता है। धार्मिक ग्रंथों में इसे उत्पत्ति का शब्द माना गया है। लोग किम को ट्विटर पर इसकी महत्ता भी बता रहे हैं।
ट्विटर पर किम को ट्रोल करते हुए एक यूजर ने लिखा है, ‘यह सिर्फ एसेसरी नहीं है।’ एक अन्य यूजर ने नाराजगी और गुस्सा जाहिर करते हुए लिखा है, ‘हमारी संस्कृति और हमारे धर्म को अकेला छोड़ दो।’ रिया सेन नाम की एक ट्विटर यूजर ने लिखा है, ‘क्या आपको यह बताना पड़ेगा कि ओम हिंदुओं के लिए एक पवित्र शब्द और चिन्ह है, यह कोई एसेसरी नहीं है?’
इससे पहले बीते साल भी अप्रैल महीने में किम कार्दशियन अपने मांग टीका के कारण ट्रोल हुई थीं। तब उन्होंने क्रॉप टॉप और बॉडीकॉन स्कर्ट के साथ सोने का मांग टीका कैरी किया था। उस वक्त भी यूजर्स ने किम पर गुस्सा जाहिर किया था। सोशल मीडिया यूजर्स ने अप्रैल 2020 में किम को ट्रोल करते हुए लिखा था कि जिस तरह वह बिना किसी शर्म के अन्य संस्कृतियों को अपनाकर उसका अपमान करती हैं वह बहुत बेहूदा है।
