गन्नौर: जिला सोनीपत के गांव पुरखास में दो दिवसीय नेशनल स्टाइल ओपन कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता में 22 टीम शामिल हुई जिसमें पहला स्थान भैंसवाल कलां, द्वितीय रेड आर्मी और तीसरे स्थान पर रही गुरु द्रोण एकेडमी। कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता विजेताओं को राजेश पहलवान पुरखासिया ने प्रथम टीम भैंसवाल कलां को 41हजार रुपये देकर सम्मानित किया जबकि द्वितीय टीम रेड आर्मी टीम को 31हजार रुपये देकर सम्मानित किया।
बतौर मुख्य अतिथि कांग्रेस खेल प्रकोष्ठ के पूर्व युवा प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष राजेश पहलवान पुरखासिया ने विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत किया अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि खेल जहां हमारी स्कील को बेहतर करता है वहीं पर अनुशासन में रहने की प्रेरणा देता है। कबड्डी का खेल एक टीम स्पिरिट देता है। इसलिए विजेता टीम के इन नौजवानों को अभी एक ऊंचे मुकाम को प्राप्त करना है, उसके लिए और ज्यादा मेहनत की आवश्यकता रहेगी। विशेष अतिथि डॉ सुभाष राठी काला, मनजीत मलिक, दिग्विजय नांदल, पुरखास धिरान के सरपंच बहादुर पहलवान, पूर्व सरपंच यशपाल बाबा, पुरखास राठी से सुनील शिनू, सतीश गुलिया, संजय खत्री, संजय ठेकेदार सुनील सिंह ने विजेताओं को आशीर्वाद प्रदान किया। आयोजन समिति सदस्य मंजीत कौशिक कबड्डी कोच, संदीप सुजीत राठी, राममेहर राठी, मनदीप, कुलदीप, राकेश, सुरेंद्र राठी, कमल, देवेंद्र फौजी, जग्गू राठी, कुलजीत, सुमित, नीटू, सुंदर आदि व्यवस्थाओं को संभालने में लगे रहे।
इस प्रतियोगिता के दौरान आकर्षण का केंद्र 60 वर्षीय बुजुर्गों की दौड़ रही जिसमें 10 प्रतियोगी शामिल हुए। पहले स्थान पर कुलदीप खत्री चटिया, द्वितीय रामफल गुलिया पुरखास, तृतीय आजाद दहिया व कप्तान राठी पुरखास रहे। इससे पहले 60 किलोग्राम वर्ग भार में गुरु द्रोण कबड्डी एकेडमी पुरखास ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में 60 किलोग्राम वर्ग भार की 25 टीम शामिल हुई थी। प्रथम रही पुरखास टीम को 21 हजार रुपये, द्वितीय आर्यव्रत कबड्डी अकैडमी माहरा को 11 हजार रुपये जबकि तीसरे स्थान पर रही नीर गुलिया अकैडमी को 51सौ रुपये नगद पुरस्कार दिया गया।
