पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन कहा है कि ओलंपिक में खिलाडिय़ों का चयन गौरवपूर्ण उपलब्धि है। भारतीय हॉकी टीम की पूर्व कप्तान अर्जुन अवॉर्डी भारत की बेटी प्रीतम सिवाच की हॉकी अकादमी की तीन खिलाडिय़ों को टोक्यो ओलंपिक का टिकट मिला है। पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन व राजीव जैन ने चयनित खिलाडिय़ों व उनके परिवार को बधाई दी हुए खिलाडिय़ों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।

पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन ने प्रीतम सिवाच व खिलाडिय़ों को तराशती हैं, ऐसी बेटियां समाज के सामने अनुकरणीय उदाहरण हैं। इधर अर्जुन अवार्डी प्रीतम सिवाच ने कहा है कि सेक्टर-4 के हॉकी मैदान में एस्ट्रोटर्फ व अन्य बेहतरीन सुविधाएं पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन की देन हैं, जिसकी बदौलत खिलाड़ी लगातार सफल परिणाम दे रहे हैं। उनकी हॉकी अकादमी की प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ी नेहा गोयल, निशा व शर्मिला को ओलंपिक के लिए भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम में शामिल किया गया है। खिलाडिय़ों को प्रोत्साहन व सुविधाएं मिलने से बेहतर परिणाम मिलते हैं। औद्योगिक क्षेत्र सोनीपत स्थित हॉकी ग्राउंड में भी कविता जैन-राजीव जैन ने मैदान की चारदिवारी तथा चेंजिंग रूम बनवाने में विशेष योगदान दिया। इसके अलावा भी कई प्रकार की बेहतरीन सुविधाएं प्रदान करवाई हैं, जिससे खिलाडिय़ों को प्रोत्साहन मिला।

मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने कहा कि पहली बार सोनीपत के इतने खिलाडिय़ों ने ओलंपिक के लिए क्वालीफाई किया है। हॉकी खिलाडिय़ों की पहली आवश्यकता एस्ट्रोटर्फ हॉकी मैदान है, जिसे सेक्टर-4 के स्टेडियम में स्थापित करवाया गया है। अर्जुन अवॉर्डी प्रीतम सिवाच के नेतृत्व में अकादमी के हॉकी कोच अनिल डबास तथा हॉकी अकादमी सदस्य कुलदीप सिवाच, अनिल धीमान, रमेश कुमार तथा एडवोकेट अरविंद कुमार आदि शामिल रहे।
