अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के साथ उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा है कि वृद्धाश्रम व अनाथाश्रम समाज के पत्तन का प्रतीक हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जीवित वही है जो दुनिया को आगे बढ़ा सकता है। माँ-बेटियां ही ईश्वर की रचना को विस्तार प्रदान करती हैं। हर कोई इसको समझते हुए समाज में व्याप्त भेदभाव को खत्म करने का प्रयास करे।
महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग के तत्वावधान में रविवार को लघु सचिवालय में आयोजित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि बोल रहे थे।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के मौके पर उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया की बिटिया हिताश्री पूनिया का जन्मदिवस भी होता है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस समारोह के दौरान उपस्थित अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों ने उपायुक्त को उनकी पुत्री के जन्मोत्सव की बधाई देते हुए बेटी को शुभकामनाएं दी। उपायुक्त ने सबका आभार व्यक्त किया। नौ नन्हीं बेटियों को समारोह के दौरान उपायुक्त पूनिया ने पुरस्कृत किया बधाई दी। बागडू की परी, पिनाना की सिया, ट्राली की दक्षिका, मुरथल की दृष्टि, गढ़ी बख्तावरपुर की अन्वी, तारा नगर की नित्या, कैलाश कालोनी की गिरीशा तथा विशाल नगर की दृष्टि और लहराड़ा की मायरा इसमें शामिल रही। 10वीं और 12वीं की वार्षिक परीक्षाओं में प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय स्थान पर रहने वाली छात्राओं को उपायुक्त ने पुरस्कृत किया। 10वीं कक्षा में प्रथम रही वंशिका तथा द्वितीय महक और तृतीय स्थान पर रही इशिता जबकि 12वीं कक्षा में अव्वल रही रितिका व द्वितीय स्थान पर रही शिक्षा और तृतीय स्थान अर्जित करने वाली छात्रा भावना शामिल रही।
हरियाणा का “हरियाणा” नाम कैसे पड़ा
सर्वश्रेष्ठ आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं में लक्ष्मी, नीरज, सुनीता, कविता, सुमन, सुुमित्रा तथा गीता और सुदेश सम्मिलित रही। बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ अभियान को सफल बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी डा. रितु गिल ने कहा बाल यौन शोषण से संरक्षण प्रदान करने के लिए पॉक्सो अधिनियम बनाया गया है। हैल्पलाईन नंबर 1098 व 181 पर भी मदद ली जा सकती है। सीडीपीओ गीता गहलावत ने कन्या भ्रूण हत्या पर कटाक्ष करती कविता की भी मार्मिक प्रस्तुति दी।
ब्रेकथ्रू एनजीओ ने नुक्कड़ नाटिकी प्रस्तुति दी जिसमें लडक़ा-लडक़ी में भेद पर चोट करते हुए बेटियों को समान अधिकार देने की वकालत की। जिला महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग की कार्यक्रम अधिकारी शांति जून, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी जोगेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा, डा. आदर्श शर्मा, सीडीपीओ गीता गहलावत, जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी डा. रितु गिल आदि मौजूद थे।
