दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, मुरथल ने अंत्रप्रन्योरशिप व स्टार्टअप नीति पास की है। नीतिपास होने के बाद विद्यार्थियों को उद्यमी बनने में मदद मिलेगी। युवा अपने आइडिया व अनुसंधान को व्यवसायिक रूप दे सकेंगे। डीसीआरयूएसटी अब रोबोटिक्स के क्षेत्र में उद्यमी बनने वालों को प्रशिक्षण देने का कार्य करेगा। विश्वविद्यालय की शैक्षणिक परिषद की बैठक हुई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो.राजेंद्र कुमार अनायत ने की। प्रदेश सरकार की अंत्रप्रन्योरशिप व स्टार्टअप पोलिसी 2017 को मूल रूप में स्वीकार कर लिया गया है, जिससे विद्यार्थियों के अंत्रप्रन्योर बनने के रास्ते खुल गए हैं। कुलपति अनायत ने कहा है कि डीसीआरयूएसटी को रोबोटिक्स के क्षेत्र में प्रदेश का पहला इंक्यूबेशन सेंटर मिला था। आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स आधारित रोबोटिक्स और ऑटोमेशन के क्षेत्र में इन्क्यूबेशन सेंटर स्थापित करने का प्रस्ताव को राज्य सरकार द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया था। इंक्यूबेशन सेंटर के माध्यम से प्रबंधन प्रशिक्षण, कार्यालय स्थान और सलाह प्रदान करके स्टार्टअप कंपनियों की मदद की जाएगी। स्वचालन, चिकित्सा, रक्षा, परिवहन, उपभोक्ता इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स,मानव रहित वाहन संगणना और कृषि के क्षेत्र में उभरती हुई कंपनियां लाभान्वित होगीं। यह पोलिसी पास होने से व अंतराल वर्ष की सुविधा मिलने से युवा अपने आइडिया व अनुसंधान को व्यसायिक रूप देने में सक्षम हो पाएगें।
इससे राष्ट्र व प्रदेश के विकास को बढावा मिलेगा। विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र, संकाय सदस्य, पूर्व छात्र, कंपनियाँ, उद्योग व समाज के लोग उठा सकेगें। इन्क्यूबेशन सेंटर के प्रधान अन्वेषक डॉ. पवन कुमार दहिया ने कहा है कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों में विश्वविद्यालय ने रोबोटिक्सए ऑटोमेशन, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और इंटरनेट ऑफ द चीजों के क्षेत्र में योग्यता हासिल की है। विश्वविद्यालय में ई.यंत्र लैब एमएचआरडी और आईआईटीए बॉम्बे के सहयोग से स्थापित किया गया है। रोबोटिक्स के लैब के कारण छात्रों ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आयोजित रोबोटिक्स प्रतियोगिताओं में कई पुरस्कार प्राप्त किए हैं।
