जम्मू कश्मीर की राजधानी श्रीनगर के पंथ चौक स्थित नाके पर शनिवार की देर शाम को आतंकवादियों ने पुलिस पर और सीआरपीएफ के जवानों पर हमला कर दिया। यह हमला उस वक्त किया गया जब जवान नाके से गुजर रही गाड़ियों को पूछताछ के लिए रुकवा रहे थे। सभी आतंकवादियों ने सुरक्षाबलों के ऊपर हमला कर दिया। इस मुठभेड़ में जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस का एक एसआई भी शहीद हुआ है और तीन आतंकवादी मारे गए हैं। जैसे ही आतंकवादियों ने हमला किया उसके बाद तुरंत पुलिस और सीआरपीएफ के जवानों ने अपनी अपनी पोजीशन ले ली। दोनों तरफ से लगातार फायरिंग हो रही थी। बताया यह जा रहा है कि अभी भी कुछ आतंकी वहां छिपे हो सकते हैं। इसीलिए सेना और पुलिस के जवान पूरे इलाके को घेर कर वहां पर सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। इस हमले की जानकारी के लिए जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस ने अपने आधिकारिक ट्विटर हैंडल पर इसकी जानकारी दी है।
