एसपी जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा ने लघु सचिवालय में अपराध गोष्ठी के दौरान अधिकारियों एवं यूनिट प्रभारियों को अपराध पर अंकुश लगाने तथा पैट्रोलिंग व गश्त बढ़ाने के सख्त निर्देश दिए। संगीन एवं अनसुलझे मामलों को तुरंत सुलझा कर न्यायालय में चालान तय सीमा में पेश करने के लिए कहा।
एसपी ने कहा कि संगीन एवं अनसुलझे मामलों को शीघ्र सुलझाये। आर्थिक अपराध एवं धोखाधडी के मामलों की गहनता से जांच कर आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया जाये। ग्रामीण व शहरी क्षेत्रों में विशेष तौर से पैट्रोलिंग व गश्त बढ़ा कर लूट व चोरी की घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाया जाये। अपराधिक प्रवृति के व्यक्तियों पर विशेष निगरानी रखी जाये। अवैध हथियारों, अवैध शराब व मादक पदार्थ तस्करी के धंधे पर पूर्ण रूप से अंकुश लगाया जाये। पीओ, बैल जम्परों, पैरोल जम्परों को शीघ्र गिरफ्तार किया जाये। अपनी डयूटी सच्ची लगन, मेहनत, ईमानदारी व निष्पक्षता के साथ करे। महिलाओं के विरूद्ध अपराधों में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही न बरते। वृद्ध पुरूषों व महिलाओं को चैकिंग के दौरान परेशान न किया जाये। गश्त के दौरान असामाजिक तत्वों पर पैनी नजर रखी जाये। अपराधियों एवं असामाजिक तत्वों के साथ मिलीभगत को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जायेगा। लापरवाही एवं भ्रष्टाचार को किसी भी सूरत में सहन नहीं किया जायेगा।
