दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय,मुरथल में दीनबंधु छोटू राम चेयर द्वारा 15 वें मेमोरियल लेक्चर में बतौर अतिथि बोल रहे थे। मुख्य वक्ता भक्त फूल सिंह महिला विश्वविद्यालय, खानपुर की कुलपति प्रो.सुदेश छिक्कारा थी, जबकि कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो.राजेंद्र कुमार अनायत ने की।

सोनीपत: हिसार से लोकसभा सदस्य व सेवानिवृत्त आईएएस ब्रिजेंद्र सिंह ने कहा कि युवा पुस्तकें पढ़ें सोशल मीडिया से बाहर निकलें। दीनबंधु छोटू राम को जाने वे सर्वगुण संपन्न व्यक्ति, कुशल मंत्री, कुशल प्रशासक, समाज सुधारक, राजनेता, विख्यात वकील, शिक्षाविद व कुशल संपादक रहे। इसीलिए युवा सोशल मीडिया से ऊपर उठें, पुस्तकें ताकि अपने पूर्वजों का हमे ज्ञान मिले।

भक्त फूल सिंह महिला विश्वविद्यालय,खानपुर की कुलपति प्रो.सुदेश छिक्कारा ने मुख्य वक्ता के तौर पर कहा कि ऐसा कोई क्षेत्र नहीं है जिसमें दीनबंधु छोटू राम ने कार्य नहीं किया हो। प्रदेश के वर्तमान स्वरूप में छोटू राम का अहम योगदान रहा है। वोकल फॉर लोकल की नीति के कारण ही पानीपत का टेक्सटाइल उद्योग का विकास हुआ। समाज का हर वर्ग दीनबंधु छोटू राम से प्रेरणा लेता है। वे राजनीति में मानव कल्याण के लिए आए। भक्त फूल सिंह ने बेटियों के लिए गुरुकुल प्रारंभ किया तो छोटू राम ने भी अपना हर प्रकार का सहयोग दिया।
कुलपति प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि दीनबंधु छोटू राम ही ऐसे व्यक्ति थे, जिनके नाम पर लाहौर, ढाका व भारत में कहीं भी कार्यक्रम कर सकते हैं। वे वर्तमान समय में भी तीनों देशों के सर्वमान्य नेता हैं। दीनबंधु छोटू राम चेयर की प्रोफेसर इंचार्ज प्रो.सुमन सांगवान दीनबंधु छोटू राम चेयर के बारे में विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला। लगातार 12 वर्ष से दीनबंधु छोटू राम की प्रतिमा की साफ सफाई व लगातार माल्यार्पण के लिए सुपरवाइजर रविंद्र सांगवान को प्रशंसा पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। मंच संचालन डा.वंदना शर्मा ने किया।
