सोनीपत: लोकतंत्र में चुनाव करवाने की जिम्मेदारी महत्वपूर्ण: एसडीएम वसुंधरा
हरियाणा निर्वाचन आयोग की ओर से मिली शक्तियों का सही ढंग से प्रयोग कर निष्पक्ष ढंग से चुनाव करवाना है। शुक्रवार को वे लघु सचिवालय स्थित कांफ्रेंस हॉल में अधिकारियों की रिहर्सल के दौरान बोल रही थी।

सोनीपत/नरेंद्र शर्मा परवाना: एसडीएम एवं कुंडली नगर पालिका चुनाव की रिटर्निंग अधिकारी शशि वसुंधरा ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र में स्वतंत्र व निष्पक्ष ढंग से चुनाव करवाने की जिम्मेदारी महत्वपूर्ण है। हरियाणा निर्वाचन आयोग की ओर से मिली शक्तियों का सही ढंग से प्रयोग कर निष्पक्ष ढंग से चुनाव करवाना है। शुक्रवार को वे लघु सचिवालय स्थित कांफ्रेंस हॉल में अधिकारियों की रिहर्सल के दौरान बोल रही थी।
एसडीएम वसुंधरा ने कहा कि हमें तैयार की गई पुस्तिका को बेहतर ढंग से पढऩा है और उसमें जितने भी नियम, प्रोफोर्मा व अन्य निर्देश दिए गए हैं उन्हें क्रमश: लागू करना है। प्रत्येक अधिकारी ईवीएम मशीनों प्रशिक्षण लें, ताकि समय पर स्थिति को बेहतर ढंग से संभाला जा सके।
नगराधीश डॉ. अनमोल ने कहा कि पदासीन अधिकारी चुनाव व्यवस्था की रीढ़ हैं। हरियाणा चुनाव आयोग के निर्देशानुसार मॉक पोल की प्रक्रिया पोलिंग एजेंटों की उपस्थिति में कराई जाएगी। निर्धारित समय पर पोलिंग एजेंट नहीं पहुंचते तो 15 मिनट की प्रतीक्षा के बाद पीठासीन अधिकारी स्वयं मॉक पोल कर सकता है।
निर्वाचन तहसीलदार सरला कौशिक ने पीठासीन अधिकारी द्वारा भरे जाने वाले प्रत्येक प्रोफोर्मा के बारे में बताया। पूरा प्रशिक्षण इसलिए बार-बार दिया जा रहा है ताकि बाद में कोई कमी न रहे। पीठासीन अधिकारी पुस्तिका के बारे में जानकारी दी। ईवीएम ट्रेनर सहदेव व उनकी टीम ने अधिकारी को ईवीएम मशीनें प्राप्त करने से लेकर मतदान केंद्र पर जाकर मतदाता बूथ स्थापित करने, सुबह के समय मॉक पोल करवाने, मशीनों को ठीक ढंग से सील करने, बैटरी चैक करने, शाम को छह बजे जब मतदान खत्म हो तो सबसे अंतिम व्यक्ति को पर्ची देने और प्रत्येक मतदाता के मतदान करने के बाद ठीक ढंग से मशीन सील करने, मशीनें सील करने के पश्चात इन मशीनों को जहां से प्राप्त किया है वहां जमा करवाने तक की प्रक्रिया के बारे में बताया। गोहाना नगर परिषद, गन्नौर व कुंडली नगरपालिका चुनाव क्षेत्रों के सभी पीठासीन अधिकारी व सहायक पीठासीन अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
