सांसद कौशिक ने सोमवार को सात लाभार्थियों को 23 लाख 75 हजार रुपये की राशि के चैक बांटे। उन्होंने कहा कि खेती कार्य के दौरान किसान अथवा खेतीहर मजदूर की मृत्यु व घायल होने की स्थिति में योजना के तहत मुआवजा राशि वितरित की जाती है।
नई अनाज मंडी स्थित किसान विश्राम गृह में जिला मार्केट कमेटी के तत्वावधान में मुख्य अतिथि सांसद रमेश कौशिक ने कृषि संबंधी कार्य करते समय मृत्यु होने पर मृतक के परिजनों तथा दुर्घटनाग्रस्त किसानों को वित्तीय सहायता राशि के चैक भेंट किये। जुआं गांव की जगमति देवी को पांच लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि का चैक दिया जिनके पति प्रताप सिंह की खेती कार्य के दौरान मृत्यु हो गई थी। मोहाना के दिनेश (पिता नरेंद्र की मृत्यु पर) को पांच लाख रुपये तथा बैंयापुर की शामो देवी (पति राज सिंह की मृत्यु पर) को पांच लाख रुपये और मीमारपुर की सुमन देवी (पति सुरेंद्र सिंह की मृत्यु पर) को पांच लाख रुपये की राशि का चैक भेंट किया। इनके साथ ही पिनाना के दर्शन को अंग भंग होने पर सवा लाख रुपये तथा बोहला के अनिल अंग भंग होने पर सवा लाख रुपये और चिटाना के कैलाश को भी अंग भंग होने के कारण सवा लाख रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता राशि के चैक प्रदान किये। मार्केट कमेटी सोनीपत के सचिव जितेंद्र कुमार सहित संजय वर्मा, पवन गोयल, पूर्व सचिव ज्योति मोर सहित अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी-कर्मचारी व गणमान्य व्यक्ति मौजूद थे।
