नेहरू युवा केंद्र जिला युवा अधिकारी नवीन गुलिया ने बताया कि कैच दी रैन कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत जिले भर में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर वर्षा जल संरक्षण के प्रति आम जनमानस को जागरूक करने हेतु विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों जैसी कि वॉल पेंटिंग, चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता, निबंध प्रतियोगिता, जल संवाद, वेबिनार, शपथ, नुक्कड़ - नाटक आदि कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन राष्ट्रीय युवा स्वयंसेवक एवं युवा क्लबों के सहयोग से आम जनमानस को जल संरक्षण के लिए जागरूक किया जा रहा है।

सोनीपत: जल शक्ति मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित जल शक्ति अभियान के तहत कैच दी रैन कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत उपायुक्त महोदय ललित सिवाच के निर्देशानुसार एवं युवा कार्यक्रम एवं खेल मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के आदेश अनुसार नेहरू युवा केंद्र सोनीपत के तत्वावधान में युवा स्पोर्ट्स क्लब द्वारा राजकीय कन्या उच्च विद्यालय गढी घसीटा में जल संरक्षण के लिए जागरूकता अभियान के तहत थपथ कार्यक्रम एवं चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया।
