पंडित दीन दयाल उपाध्याय भी किसानों एक बड़ा वैज्ञानिक मानते थे, जो अपने अनुभव और मेहनत के आधार पर नए-नए प्रयोगों से खेती की पैदावार को बढ़ाने के लिए लगातार प्रयास करता है।
सोनीपत: गुमड़ गांव में भारतीय किसान यूनियन चढूनी के प्रदेश संगठन सचिव हरपाल सूडल का किसानों ने स्वागत किया। संगठन सचिव हरपाल ने बैठक करते हुए कहा कि किसान आंदोलन के दौरान गन्नौर के किसानों को योगदान बड़ा सराहनीय है। उनके द्वारा किया गया सहयोग हमेशा यूनियन को याद रहेगा। गन्नौर के किसानों के लिए यूनियन जरूरत पड़ने पर पूरा सहयोग करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि किसान देश की अर्थव्यवस्था की रीड़ की हड्डी है तथा कृषि भारत की आत्मा है।
