सांसद रमेश कौशिक ने उपस्थित लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि पैरालम्पिक में गोल्ड लेने वाले सुमित आंतिल की इस जीत से न केवल देश का बल्कि हरियाणा के साथ-साथ अपने गांव का भी नाम रोशन किया है। सुमित ने 68.55 मीटर दूर भाला फेंककर गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया। यही नहीं सुमित का ये थ्रो वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड भी बन गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ने खिलाडियों को बहुत सुविधाएं प्रदान कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार द्वारा ओलम्पिक में विजेता खिलाडियों को न केवल नौकरी दे रही है बल्कि उन्हें करोड़ो रूपये भी इनाम स्वरूप प्रदान किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने इस दौरान सुमित आंतिल के भविष्य में भी खेलों में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने के लिए शुभकामनाएं भी दी।
इस दौरान सांसद सुमित की माँ निर्मला व तीन बहनों सुशीला, रेनू, किरण से मिले और सुमित के पैरालम्पिक में गोल्ड लेने पर उनको बधाई दी। इस दौरान जयसिंह, बलबीर, तेजू, सतबीर, रोहतास, बिजेंदर चाचा व सुनील आर्य, सोनू, विकास भाई आदि भी उपस्थित थे।
