मंगलवार को दुकानदारों का प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने भाजपा के प्रदेश मीडिया संपर्क प्रमुख एवं मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन से मिले और मामले में हस्तक्षेप कर समस्या का समाधान करवाने की मांग की। दुकान सरेंडर करने वाले बृजलाल चोपड़ा ने बताया कि मैंने बूथ नंबर पांच नीलामी के जरिए लिया था परंतु मार्केट के चारों तरफ जंगल और सामने दीवार होने के कारण में दुकान शुरू नहीं कर पा रहा हूं। इसलिए मैंने दुकान सरेंडर करने का निर्णय लिया है।

दुकानदारों का कहना था की मार्केट में 56 बूथ एवं दुकानें हैं परंतु मार्केट के बाहर रेजिडेंट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन द्वारा अवैध रूप से लोहे का गेट लगा दिया गया है जिसके कारण दो चार दुकानें खुली भी है तो गेट की वजह से ग्राहक नहीं आ पाते क्योंकि गेट सुबह देर से खोलकर रात को 7 बजे ही बंद कर दिया जाता है उन्होंने बताया कि मार्केट में एक आयुर्वेदिक हॉस्पिटल खुला है परंतु डॉक्टर के सामने भी सुचारू रूप से चलाने की समस्या आ रही है।
राजीव जैन ने प्राधिकरण के संपदा अधिकारी दीपक घनघस तथा जिला नगर योजनाकार नरेश कुमार को फोन करके समस्या का समाधान तुरंत करने के निर्देश दिए। दुकानदारों में संजय सेहरा, जगदीश बत्रा, शैलेंद्र विज, सुनील, विकास, संजय कुमार, देवेंद्र मोहन, सुशीला रानी, रविंदर, ललित तनेजा शामिल थे।
