श्री गणेश उत्सव के समापन अवसर पर सोनीपत में श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा पूजा पाठ करने के बाद शोभा यात्रा निकाली। इस यात्रा में मनमोहक झांकियां और शिव मंडली का नृत्य काफी मनमोहक रहे। शोभा यात्रा के बाद गणेश प्रतिमा को यमुना नदी में विसर्जन किया गया।

श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा गणेश उत्सव के समापन पर खुशी व उल्लास के साथ शोभा यात्रा श्रद्धालु खुशी से नाचते हुए भगवान श्री गणेश की जय जयकार कर रहे। शोभा यात्रा के दौरान राधाकृष्णन का मनमोहक नृत्य जहां लोगों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर रही थी। वहीं दूसरी ओर भगवान शिव की मंडली शरीर पर भभूत लगाकर नृत्य किया जा रहा था।
श्रद्धालु सीमा वर्मा ने बताया कि गणेश उत्सव महोत्सव के दौरान शिव मंडली द्वारा मनमोहक नृत्य की प्रस्तुति दी है। और भगवान श्री गणेश की सभी श्रद्धालुओं ने पूजा पाठ की है और प्रतिमा को विसर्जन यमुना नदी में किया। हर तरफ खुशी का माहौल है।
महाराष्ट्र के हरिदास पाटिल ने बताया कि वह भी पिछले 29 वर्षों से सोनीपत में गणपति महोत्सव मनाते आ रहे हैं यहां सोनीपत में पिछले नौ दिनों से यह महोत्सव चल रहा है अब इसका विसर्जन करने के लिए नगर परिक्रमा करवाई गई। खुशी और उत्सव के साथ सब इस पर्व को मनाया गया है। श्री गणेश जी सब की मनोकामना पूरी करें ऐसी कामना सब श्रद्धालु गणपति महोत्सव के दौरान कर रहे हैं। श्रद्धालुओं को प्रसाद वितरित किया गया।
