नपा सचिव प्रदीप खर्ब ने बताया कि बुधवार को होर्डिंग हटाओ अभियान के दौरान मुख्यतः बिजली के खंभों पर लगे होर्डिंग, मुख्य चौराहे और सड़कों पर मौजूद होर्डिंग हटवाये गये हैं।
सोनीपत: नगर पालिका गन्नौर क्षेत्र अंतर्गत बुधवार को अभियान चलाकर मुख्य चौराहे, सड़कों और बिजली के खंभों से अवैध रुप से लगे होर्डिंग्स हटाए गए। यह होर्डिंग निजी संस्थानों, राजनीतिक पार्टियों व शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के थे। सभी होर्डिंग उतरवा कर जब्त कर लिये गए।

एसडीएम सुरेंद्र दून के निर्देश पर यह अभियान चलाया गया। अवैध रूप से शहर में होर्डिंग न लगवाएं अन्यथा उनके खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी। शहर के अधिकांश बिजली पोल और पेड़ों पर बिना अनुमति के विज्ञापन के कट आउट, बैनर और बोर्ड आदि बिना अनुमति प्रचार बोर्ड लगाना अवैध है। यह प्रशासन के नियमों की अवहेलना है।
