गढ़ी झंझारा रोड स्थित गांधी नगर गन्नौर में एक शादी समारोह में डीजे पर नाचने के दौरान दो पक्षों में झगड़ा हो गया। लोगों ने बीच बचाव कर झगड़े को शांत करवा दिया। घर लौटते समय एक पक्ष के लोगों ने एक युवक की पीट-पीट कर हत्या कर दी। मृतक संदीप उर्फ सैंडी समालखा का रहने वाला है। सूचना के बाद पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। मामला दर्ज कर लिया है।

पुलिस ने एफएसएल टीम को मौके पर बुला कर घटना स्थल से नमूने एकत्रित करवाए और संदीप के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सोनीपत के सामान्य अस्पताल में भिजवाया। मृतक के चचेरे भाई अभिषेक की शिकायत पर सफीदों के जयपुर गांव निवासी जोनी व उसके अज्ञात साथियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। पानीपत के समालखा निवासी संदीप उर्फ सैंडी अपने ताऊ के लड़के अभिषेक, पवन, प्रवीण सहित चार अन्य साथियों के साथ गन्नौर के गढ़ी झंझारा रोड निवासी अपने दोस्त मोनू के घर शादी समारोह में गया था। वापस आते समय गढ़ी झंझारा रोड स्थित पावर हाऊस के निकट घेर लिया और उनके साथ मारपीट करने लगे। अभिषेक, पवन, प्रवीण व उनके साथी अपनी मोटरसाइकिलों को छोड़ कर खेत में छिप गए। जोनी व उनके साथियों ने संदीप उर्फ सैंडी को पीटने लगे। कुछ देर बाद अभिषेक, पवन, प्रवीण खेत से बाहर निकले तो संदीप रोड पर पड़ा था। उसे गन्नौर के सीएचसी लेकर पहूंचे तो वहां चिकित्सक ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
