लोक जनशक्ति पार्टी (लोजपा) के नेता चिराग पासवान ने सोमवार को कहा कि उनके पास दिखावा करने का दर्जा नहीं है क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने पिता रामविलास पासवान की जयंती पर 'आशीर्वाद यात्रा' शुरू की थी। चिराग ने कहा कि इसका मकसद लोगों का आशीर्वाद लेना है।

“मैं आशीर्वाद यात्रा हाजीपुर से शुरू कर रहा हूं क्योंकि यह मेरे पिता की कार्य भूमि थी। हम यह यात्रा हर जिले में करेंगे। हमारा एकमात्र उद्देश्य सभी का आशीर्वाद लेना है। मेरे पास किसी को शक्ति दिखाने की स्थिति नहीं है। मेरे अपने लोग मेरे साथ विश्वासघात किया है,” समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई ने उन्हें यह कहते हुए उद्धृत किया था।

स्पीकर ने पारस को संसद के निचले सदन में लोजपा के फ्लोर लीडर के रूप में स्वीकार किया। पार्टियों के फ्लोर नेताओं की एक संशोधित सूची में, पारस को लोकसभा लोजपा नेता के रूप में सूचीबद्ध किया गया था। चिराग के नेतृत्व वाली विंग ने जहां पांच सांसदों को पार्टी से निष्कासित कर दिया है, वहीं प्रतिद्वंद्वी समूह ने उन्हें अपने अध्यक्ष पद से हटा दिया है।
