भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता राजीव जैन ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 70वें जन्मदिवस के उपलक्ष्य में बुधवार को कुष्ठ आश्रम और गांधी कालोनी में फलों का वितरण किया। साथ ही उन्होंने कुष्ठ आश्रम में फोगिंग भी करवाई। इस दौरान उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री की दीर्घायु के साथ अच्छे स्वास्थ्य की कामना की।
राजीव जैन ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के जन्मोत्सव को 14 सितंबर से 20 सितंबर तक सेवा सप्ताह के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री का जन्मदिवस 17 सितंबर को है। जन्मोत्सव के मौके पर सब्जी मंडी व गोहाना रोड और कच्चे क्वार्टर में थैला वितरण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन भी किया जाएगा, ताकि लोगों को प्लास्टिक का प्रयोग न करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जा सके। प्लास्टिक का प्रयोग स्वास्थ्य व वातावरण के लिए हानिकारक है। उन्होंने कहा कि 8 अगस्त से सोनीपत शहर में फोगिंग की शुरुआत करवाई गई थी, जिसे अब पूरा माह जारी रखा जाएगा। सरदारों वाली गली, झुग्गी-बस्ती, देव नगर, लाल दरवाजा, भाट मौहल्ला, राजेंद्र नगर, अशोक विहार और जैन बाग कालोनी में फोगिंग करवाई गई है। किसी भी जगह गंदगी नहीं पनपने देनी।
मच्छर पैदा होने की सभी संभावनाओं पर अंकुश लगाना होगा। यह कोरोना काल है, जिसमें विशेष सावधानियां बरतनी जरूरी हैं। कोविड-19 कोरोना वायरस के बचाव के साथ मच्छर जनित रोगों से भी संरक्षण आवश्यक है। पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार ने आम जनमानस को प्रोत्साहित किया कि वे कोरोना वायरस से बचाव के लिए जिला प्रशासन व स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा जारी सभी दिशा-निर्देशों की पूर्ण अनुपालना करें।
