अभिनेता रजनीकांत ने सोमवार को नई दिल्ली में भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति वेंकैया नायडू से दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार 2019 प्राप्त किया। पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने के बाद, रजनीकांत ने कहा, “मुझे सबसे प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार देने के लिए मैं केंद्र सरकार का बेहद आभारी हूं।
चेन्नई: अभिनेता रजनीकांत ने सोमवार को नई दिल्ली में भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति वेंकैया नायडू से दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार 2019 प्राप्त किया। पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने के बाद, रजनीकांत ने कहा, “मुझे सबसे प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार देने के लिए मैं केंद्र सरकार का बेहद आभारी हूं। मैं इस पुरस्कार को अपने गुरु के बालाचंदर को समर्पित करता हूं और मैं उन्हें कृतज्ञता के साथ याद करता हूं। मैं अपने भाई को भी धन्यवाद देता हूं जिन्होंने मुझे मूल्यों की शिक्षा दी और आध्यात्मिकता का संचार किया।

फिल्म असुरन के लिए सुपरस्टार के साथ-साथ उनके दामाद और अभिनेता धनुष को भी सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का पुरस्कार मिला। असुरन के निर्देशक और निर्माता, वेत्रिमारन और कलाईपुली एस धनु को भी राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार मिला।
तमिलनाडु से, अभिनेता विजय सेतुपति को एक ट्रांसवुमन “शिल्पा” के रूप में उनके चरित्र के लिए फिल्म “सुपर डीलक्स” में सर्वश्रेष्ठ सहायक अभिनेता का पुरस्कार भी मिला।
फिल्म ओथ सेरुप्पु साइज 7 को भी दो पुरस्कार मिले। सर्वश्रेष्ठ ऑडियोग्राफी श्रेणी में, रेसुल पुकुट्टी को ओथ सेरुप्पु साइज एंड मूवी के लिए पुरस्कार मिला। वन-मैन फिल्म आर पार्थिबन का निर्माण करने वाले निर्देशक और अभिनेता को भी फिल्म के लिए विशेष जूरी पुरस्कार मिला।
पुरस्कार 1 जनवरी, 2019 और 31 दिसंबर, 2019 के बीच रिलीज़ हुई फिल्मों के लिए दिए गए थे, क्योंकि 3 मई, 2021 को होने वाले समारोह में महामारी के कारण देरी हुई थी।
