सेफ इंडिया फाउंडेशन द्वारा जिला सोनीपत के शमशानों में रखी हुई लावारिस अस्थि विसर्जन कार्यक्रम के तहत रविवार को शुरुआत में शहर के सभी शमशानों से 9 लोगों की अस्थि इकट्ठा कर विधि विधान से पूजा करवा कर गढ़ मुक्तेश्वर में विसर्जित किया गया।

रविवार की सुबह 8 बजे तिरंगा चौक शिवमुक्ति धाम से सेफ एम्बुलेंस को अस्थि लेकर समाज सेवी नरेन्द्र भूटानी के साथ रवाना किया गया, हरी झंडी संस्था के चैयरमेन वाई के त्यागी ने दिखाई, सेफ इंडिया फाउंडेशन के प्रधान संजय सिंगला ने बताया कि अब हर महीने की पहली तारीख को जिला सोनीपत के सभी शमशान घाटों से लावारिस अस्थियों को लेकर विसर्जन किया जाएगा तथा जो लोग अपने खर्चे पर अपने परिजनों की अस्थि विसर्जन के लिए हरिद्वार नही ले जा सकते उनको भी इस गाड़ी में आने जाने की निःशुल्क व्यवस्था की गई है, इस मौके संस्था के एम्बुलेंस ड्राइवर दीपक भी मौजूद रहे।

संस्था के चैयरमेन वाई के त्यागी व प्रधान संजय सिंगला ने बताया कि संस्था द्वारा 60 वर्ष से ऊपर के वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और विकलांगों को उनके घर जाकर कोरोना वैक्सीन लगवाना, विकलांगो को सरकारी अस्पताल में सर्टिफिकेट बनवाने के लिए लाने व ले जाने के लिए नि:शुल्क व्यवस्था तथा मरीजो के लिए निःशुल्क एम्बुलेंस सुविधा आदि दी जा रही है तथा संस्था पहले से ही सोनीपत, गन्नौर व गोहाना के अस्पतालों में मरीजों तथा उनके अटेंडेंट के लिए नि:शुल्क भोजन व्यवस्था एवं जरूरतमन्द लोगों के लिए पूरा दिन नि:शुल्क भोजन व्यवस्था व पक्षियों के लिए गोविन्द पक्षी विहार, जिले में 12 जगह शीतल जल सेवा, जरूरत मन्द के लिए चप्पल जूते वितरण, गोविन्द बुक बैंक, गोविन्द गौ ग्रास सेवा, वैक्सीन कैम्प आदि जनता के लिए समर्पित है।
