पीएम मोदी ने तमिलनाडु दौरा किया रद्द : वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए 11 नए मेडिकल कॉलेज और नए सीआईसीटी कैंपस का करेंगे उद्घाटन
पीएमओ ने कहा कि मेडिकल कॉलेज सस्ती चिकित्सा शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य के बुनियादी ढांचे को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पीएम के निरंतर प्रयास के अनुरूप स्थापित किए गए थे।
चेन्नई: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार और पार्टी से संबंधित कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेने के लिए तमिलनाडु की यात्रा 12 जनवरी को रद्द कर दी गई है, सोमवार को पीएमओ से आधिकारिक संचार के अनुसार। हालांकि, उपन्यास कोरोनवायरस मामलों में वृद्धि के बीच, प्रधान मंत्री 12 जनवरी को वीडियो-कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से तमिलनाडु भर में 11 मेडिकल कॉलेजों और सेंट्रल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ क्लासिकल तमिल (CICT) के लिए एक नए परिसर का उद्घाटन करेंगे।
पीटीआई की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, प्रधानमंत्री 4,000 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से निर्मित 11 मेडिकल कॉलेजों का उद्घाटन करेंगे, जिनमें से 2,145 करोड़ रुपये केंद्र सरकार द्वारा परियोजना के लिए योगदान दिया गया था। विरुधुनगर, नमक्कल, तिरुपुर, नीलगिरी, तिरुवल्लूर, नागपट्टिनम, डिंडीगुल, रामनाथपुरम, कल्लाकुरिची, अरियालुर और कृष्णागिरी में नए कॉलेजों का उद्घाटन किया जाएगा।
पीएमओ ने कहा कि मेडिकल कॉलेज सस्ती चिकित्सा शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य के बुनियादी ढांचे को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पीएम के निरंतर प्रयास के अनुरूप स्थापित किए गए थे।
तमिलनाडु में सभी नए कॉलेज मिलकर 1,450 सीटें मुहैया कराएंगे।
इस बीच, चेन्नई में सेंट्रल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ क्लासिकल तमिल के लिए एक परिसर का भी उद्घाटन पीएम मोदी द्वारा किया जाना है। पीएमओ ने कहा कि उद्घाटन भारतीय विरासत की रक्षा और संरक्षण और शास्त्रीय भाषा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पीएम मोदी के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप है।
केंद्र सरकार द्वारा वित्त पोषित नया परिसर 24 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाया गया था।
प्रधानमंत्री ऑनलाइन वीडियो-कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए पुडुचेरी में राष्ट्रीय युवा सम्मेलन का भी उद्घाटन करेंगे। इस बीच, पीएम मोदी को तमिलनाडु बीजेपी द्वारा आयोजित किए जाने वाले ‘मोदी पोंगल’ कार्यक्रम में भी शामिल होना था, लेकिन COVID-19 प्रतिबंधों के कारण यह कार्यक्रम रद्द कर दिया गया।
