प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 70वें जन्मदिवस के उपलक्ष्य में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जगत प्रकाश नड्डा ने शनिवार को सेक्टर-8 में स्थापित किए जा रहे ऑक्सीजन बाग में पौधारोपण किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पौधारोपण समय की मांग है। अधिकाधिक ऑक्सीजन बाग स्थापित किए जाने चाहिए, ताकि पर्यावरण प्रदूषण को कम किया जा सके।
भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा ने पौधारोपण करते हुए पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हम प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के जन्मोत्सव को सेवा सप्ताह के रूप में मना रहे हैं। इसके तहत जन सेवा के कार्य किये जा रहे हैं। पौधारोपण बेहतरीन मानव सेवा का कार्य है,जो कि समय की मांग भी है। आज के दौर में जितना अधिक हो सके पौधारोपण करना चाहिए। यह मानव जीवन और सुरक्षित पर्यावरण के लिए आवश्यक है। राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष ने सोनीपत में स्थापित किए जा रहे ऑक्सीजन बागों की श्रंखला के लिए भी बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि पौधारोपण करते समय पौधों का चयन भी महत्व रखता है। हमें ज्यादा से ज्यादा ऑक्सीजन प्रदायक पौधे लगाने चाहिए। प्रदूषण को कम करना बहुत जरूरी है। इसके लिए हर संभव प्रयास करना चाहिए। इसमें सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण पौधारोपण है। साथ ही उन्होंने जल संरक्षण पर भी बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें जल की कम खपत वाले पौधे लगाने की ओर भी विशेष रूप से कदम बढ़ाना चाहिए। हरियाणा भाजपा के अध्यक्ष ओमप्रकाश धनखड़ ने भी इस मौके पर ऑक्सीजन बाग में पौधारोपण किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्राकृतिक संतुलन की स्थापना के लिए अनिवार्य रूप से पौधारोपण किया जाना चाहिए। यदि प्रकृति का संतुलन बिगड़ता रहा तो यह मानवीय जीवन के लिए अत्यधिक नुकसानदायक होगा। हमारी आने वाली पीढिय़ों के सुखद एवं सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए हमें आज अधिकाधिक पौधारोपण करना होगा। इस दौरान उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री के जन्मोत्सव की भी बधाई देते हुए जनसेवा का संदेश दिया।
