एसएस न्यूज.वाशिंगटन। अमेरिकी अभिनेता एवं ‘टार्जन: द एपिक एडवेंचर्स’ में शानदार भूमिका निभाने वाले जो लारा का विमान दुर्घटना में निधन हो गया है। द टेनेसीयन अखबार ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में यह जानकारी दी। विमान दुर्घटना में जो लारा की पत्नी और पांच अन्य लोगों की भी मौत हो गई है।
अखबार ने रविवार को पुलिस के हवाले से रिपोर्ट में बताया कि शनिवार को विमान दुर्घटना में लारा (58) समेत सात लोगों की मौत हो गई है। मृतकों में लारा की पत्नी ग्वेन लारा (66) और पांच अन्य लोग शामिल हैं। सेसना सी501 जेट शनिवार की सुबह रदरफोर्ड काउंटी के स्मिर्ना शहर के समीप पर्सी प्रीस्ट झील में दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया। आपातकालीन अधिकारियों के अनुसार विमान ने फ्लोरिडा के पाम बीच अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के लिए उड़ान भरा था।
रात भर चले बचाव अभियान के बाद अधिकारियों ने बताया कि सभी सात यात्रियों की दुर्घटना में मौत हो गई है। दुर्घटना के सही कारण का पता नहीं चला है। यूएस नेशनल ट्रांसपोर्टेशन सेफ्टी बोर्ड (एनटीएसबी) दुर्घटना के कारणों की जांच कर रहा है।
