उपमंडल अधिकारी (ना.) प्रदीप कुमार ने कहा कि सामान्य जाति की महिलाओं तथा अनुसूचित जाति की महिलाओं और पिछड़ा वर्ग के वार्डों को मिलाकर कुल 07 वार्ड महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित हुए हैं।
सोनीपत। गोहाना के एसडीएम प्रदीप कुमार ने बताया कि पंचायत समिति कथूरा के 15 वार्डों में से 07 वार्ड महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित किये गये हैं। अनुसूचित जाति के लिए आरक्षित तीन वार्ड में से एक वार्ड महिला के लिए आरक्षित रहेगा। खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी कार्यालय में वार्ड की आरक्षण प्रक्रिया पूरी की गई।

उपमंडल अधिकारी (ना.) प्रदीप कुमार ने कहा कि सामान्य जाति की महिलाओं तथा अनुसूचित जाति की महिलाओं और पिछड़ा वर्ग के वार्डों को मिलाकर कुल 07 वार्ड महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित हुए हैं। महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित वार्डों में वार्ड नंबर-3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, और वार्ड-15 शामिल हैं। अनुसूचित जाति के लिए आरक्षित वार्ड 01, 7 व वार्ड नंबर- 12 शामिल हैं। वार्ड नंबर-07 को अनुसूचित जाति की महिला के लिए आरक्षित किया गया है। पिछड़ा वर्ग (क) के लिए ड्रॉ ऑफ लॉट्स के द्वारा दो वार्ड 10 तथा वार्ड नंबर-13 आरक्षित हैं। पिछड़ा वर्ग (क) के दोनों ही वार्ड महिला प्रत्याशियों के लिए आरक्षित किये गये हैं।
इस प्रकार अनारक्षित वार्डों में वार्ड नंबर-2, 4, 6, 9, 11 और वार्ड नंबर-14 शामिल हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने आपत्ति एवं सुझाव भी आमंत्रित किये हैं, जिन्हें सरकार को प्रेषित कर दिया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी मनोज कौशल सहित अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी व कर्मचारी और आम जनमानस मौजूद थे।
