श्रमिक दिवस पर ऑक्सिजन बाग का शुभारंभ : नियमित रूप से पौधारोपण करते हुए पर्यावरण संरक्षण को दें मजबूती: उपायुक्त
पर्यावरण संरक्षण के उद्देश्य से श्रमिक दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने चीनी मिल में मिनी ऑक्सिजन बाग का शुभारंभ करते हुए युवाओं को अधिकाधिक ऑक्सिजन बाग स्थापित करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि एकजुट प्रयासों से ही पर्यावरण संरक्षण को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और प्रदूषण पर लगाम लगेगी।

ट्री-मैन देवेंद्र सूरा के अथक प्रयासों से उनके पर्यावरण मित्रों द्वारा चीनी मिल में मिनी ऑक्सिजन बाग स्थापित करवाया गया। पर्यावरण संरक्षण को बढ़ावा देते हुए उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने शनिवार को सोनीपत चीनी मिल में राष्ट्रीय वट वृक्ष का पौधा लगाया। इस दौरान श्रमिक दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में मिल में कार्यरत श्रमिकों द्वारा भी मिनी ऑक्सीजन बाग में पौधा रोपण किया गया। उन्होंने जिला वासियों का आह्वान किया कि वे अधिकाधिक पौधारोपण करके पर्यावरण संरक्षण में सहयोग करें। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस गति से प्रदूषण बढ़ रहा है उसी गति से पर्यावरण संरक्षण की भी जरूरत है।

उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने नियमित रूप से पौधारोपण के लिए आम जनमानस का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पौधारोपण आज के समय की मांग है। प्रकृति की आवश्यकता है, जिसे नजर अंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता। हमारे खुद के और आने वाली पीढ़ी के सुखद एवं सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए पर्यावरण संरक्षण अति आवश्यक है।उन्होंने कहा कि चिनी मिल में लगभग 50 राष्ट्रीय पक्षियों का बसेरा है। इनके अलावा चीनी मिल में अधिक हरियाली होने के कारण यहां और भी बहुत से पक्षियों ने अपना बसेरा बना रहा है। यहां पर इन पक्षियों के लिए प्रतिदिन बाजरा बिखेरा जाता है ताकि यह भूखे न रहे। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि यहां इनके संरक्षण के लिए यह मिनी ऑक्सीजन बाग बनाया गया है। इस मिनी ऑक्सीजन बाग में ज्यादातर गुलर के पौधे लगाए गए है।
प्रथम सरकारी ऑक्सीजन प्लांट: उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने किया नागरिक अस्पताल में ऑक्सीजन प्लांट का उद्घाटन
इस दौरान चीनी मिल के एमडी सुरेन्द्र सिंह दून ने भी पौधा रोपण किया। इस मौके सिविल इंजीनियर देवेन्द्र पहल, सिविल इंजीनियर बृज मोहन, एलडब्ल्यओ रणधीर सिंह बेनिवाल, पीओ अविनाश, यार्ड इंचार्ज विरेन्द्र सिंह व चीनी मिल के श्रमिक बिजेन्द्र, नरेश, नवीन, सुरेश, सोनू, संजू, सतिश, स्वामी, पाले राम, रविन्द्र तथा रणबीर के अलावा पर्यावरण मित्र विक्की, राहुल, प्रशांत, अजय आदि उपस्थित थे।
चीनी मिल में श्रमिक दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में मिनी ऑक्सिजन बाग विकसित किया गया है जिसका नाम श्रमिक वाटिका रखा गया है, जिसमें उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया के नेतृत्व में लगभग 100 छायादार पौधे लगाये गये हैं। इनमें बड़, पीपल, नीम, पिलखन, गुलर इत्यादि शामिल रहे।
