कोविड-19 कोरोना वायरस की रोकथाम के लिए द सोनीपत अर्बन को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लि. ने हरियाणा राज्य कोरोना रिलीफ फंड के लिए चार लाख रुपये की आर्थिक मदद भेंट की है। इसके लिए उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने बैंक प्रबंधन का आभार व्यक्त किया है। साथ ही उन्होंने लोगों का आह्वान किया कि अपने सामथ्र्य अनुसार हर व्यक्ति को मदद के लिए आगे आना चाहिए।
द सोनीपत अर्बन को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लि. की ओर से चेयरमैन कैलाशचंद गुप्ता व वाइस-चेयरमैन एडवोकेट एसके जैन और चीफ एक्जीक्यूटिव ऑफिसर सतीश कुमार कंबोज ने उपायुक्त कार्यालय में उपायुक्त पूनिया को प्रदेश कोरोना रिलीफ फंड के लिए सहायता राशि का चैक सौंपा। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि इस प्रकार की स्थितियों में सामाजिक संस्थाओं, समाजसेवियों व अन्य संस्थाओं को मदद के लिए आगे आना चाहिए। मानव सेवा के यह बेहतरीन अवसर मिलते हैं, जिन्हें चूकना नहीं चाहिए। कोरोना काल में भी क्षमतावान लोग हर प्रकार से सहायता कर सकते हैं। लोगों को पीछे नहीं हटना चाहिए।
उपायुक्त पूनिया ने कहा कि सोनीपत दानवीरों की धरती है। पहले भी यहां के लोगों ने सामाजिक कार्यों में बढ़-चढक़र हिस्सा लिया है। लोगों ने कोरोना काल में दिल खोलकर प्रशासन की मदद की है। भविष्य में भी उन्हें लोगों से यही अपेक्षा है। इस मौके पर एसडीएम विजय सिंह भी मौजूद थे। एसडीएम ने भी बैंक पदाधिकारियों का धन्यवाद किया।
