कालेज के शैक्षणिक सत्र के शुभांरभ अवसर पर ब्रह्मचारी महाराज ने कालेज मैनेजमेंट और स्टाफ को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में काम रहे इस संस्थान की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी देश को हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ाने में अच्छी गुणवत्तापरक शिक्षा का जहां विशेष योगदान होता है,वहीं शिक्षा के साथ साथ बेहतरीन स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को भी फोकस करना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी देश की उन्नति में बेहतर शिक्षा और चिकित्सा की भूमिका निश्चित रुप से महत्वपूर्ण होती है। ब्रह्मचारी महाराज ने कहा कि शिक्षा और चिकित्सा अगर दोनों इस देश में ठीक से मिलकर चलेंगे, तो देश स्वस्थ भी होगा और शिक्षा के माध्यम से उन्नति के पथ पर आगे भी बढ़ेगा।
यज्ञ भगवान विष्णु का रूप
यज्ञ पर अपने विचार प्रकट करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि यज्ञ भगवान विष्णु का रूप है, जिन्हें साक्षी मानकर हम यह कहते हैं कि हे यज्ञ भगवान,हम आज के यज्ञ में अपनी बुराइयों को खत्म कर रहे हैं और आज आपसे आशीर्वाद लेकर बुराइयों को स्वाह कर नैतिक मूल्यों औरअच्छे संस्कारों के साथ आगे बढ़ने का प्रण लेते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि निश्चित रुप से इस विश्वास के साथ किये जाने वाले वाले यज्ञ फलीभूत होते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह समय कोरोनाकाल का है। हमें हर क्षेत्र में भारी क्षति का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इससे शिक्षा जगत भी अछूता नहीं है। मगर इन हालात में हमें पूरे धैर्य के साथ आगे बढ़ने की चुनौती को भी स्वीकार करना होगा।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान कालेज प्रबंधक समिति के चेयरमैन पवन गर्ग ने सभी अतिथियों का आभार प्रकट किया,जबकि कालेज प्रिंसीपल हरिप्रकाश शर्मा ने कालेज की उपलब्धियों का बयौरा प्रस्तुत किया।
इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान उजाला सिग्नेस अस्पताल की मेडिकल स्टाफ ने निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य निरीक्षण किया। यहां सिग्नेस अस्पताल कुरुक्षेत्र के कार्डियोलाजिस्ट डा.संजीव गुप्ता,डा.जफर व अन्य टीम मेंबर उपस्थित रहे।
इंदिरा गांधी नेशनल कालेज में आयोजित कार्यक्रम शुभारंभ से पहले सभी अतिथियों एवं प्रबंधक कमेटी के पदाधिकारियों ने पूर्व विधायक स्वर्गीय ओपी गर्ग की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण करते हुए उन्हें याद किया। ब्रह्मचारी महाराज ने कहा कि कुरुक्षेत्र के विकास में गर्ग का विशेष योगदान रहा है और 45 पहले उनके प्रयासों से ही इंदिरा गांधी नेशनल कालेज की स्थापना हुई थी। संयुक्त पंजाब में एमएलसी रहे गर्ग थानेसर से तीन बार विधायक भी चुने गये।
स्वर्गीय गर्ग के प्रयासों से आज यह शिक्षण संस्थान लाडवा और आसपास क्षेत्र में उच्चशिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने में योगदान दे रहा है।
