काशी : भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा के नेतृत्व में, सभी पार्टी शासित राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री और उपमुख्यमंत्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना कर वाराणसी में अपने अंतिम चरण का समापन करेंगे। काशी विश्वनाथ धाम के उद्घाटन के लिए गणमान्य व्यक्ति, उनकी पत्नी के साथ, प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के लोकसभा क्षेत्र वाराणसी में थे। उनके बुधवार सुबह अयोध्या में राम जन्मभूमि पर पूजा-अर्चना करने की भी उम्मीद है। भाजपा नेताओं के यात्रा कार्यक्रम में मंदिर और स्थान राज्य में महीनों में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों के साथ राजनीतिक महत्व रखते हैं।

मोदी ने कहा कि काशी विश्वनाथ धाम का पूरा नया परिसर सिर्फ एक भव्य इमारत नहीं है, बल्कि भारत की “सनातन संस्कृति” का प्रतीक है। यहां का मंदिर क्षेत्र, जो केवल 3000 वर्ग फुट था, अब लगभग पांच लाख वर्ग में फैल गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि अब 50,000-75,000 श्रद्धालु मंदिर परिसर में आ सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि “नया इतिहास” बनाया जा रहा था और “हम इसे देखने के लिए भाग्यशाली हैं।
