पर्यावरण संरक्षण व पंचायत की आमदनी बढ़ाने के लिए गांव की पंचायती जमीनों प्रशासन करेगा पौधारोपण।

विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने शुक्रवार को आहुलाना व खुबडू गांव में पौधारोपण अभियान चलाया। उनके साथ एसडीएम सुरेंद्रपाल ने भी रहे। विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने कहा कि पौधारोपण की आवश्यकता है। हमें पेड़-पौधों के महत्व को समझने की जरूरत है। स्वयं पौधारोपण करना होगा।
एसडीएम सुरेंद्रपाल ने कहा कि प्रशासन द्वारा गांव की पंचायती जमीन पर पौधारोपण व बाग लगाने की कार्ययोजना बनाई इससे दोहरा लाभ मिलेगा पर्यावरण संरक्षित होगा और पंचायत की आय में वृद्धि होगी। ग्राम पंचायत चिरस्मी ने 12 एकड़ में फलदार पौधे लगाने शुर कर दिए हैं। 16 एकड़ जमीन में शीशम नीम, जामून व पॉपुलर के पेड़ लगेंगे, आहुलाना गांव की 45 एकड़ भूमि पर पेड़ रोपित किए गए। शुक्रवार को आहुलाना गांव में 5 एकड़ जमीन में अमरूद, खुबडू स्टेडियम में पौधे रोपित किए गए। खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी जितेंद्र कुमार, तहसीलदार रविंद्र हुड्डा, वन अधिकारी मुकेश, एसईपीओ जयभगवान, सरपंच हरेंद्र पहल सहित अन्य मौजूद थे।
गन्नौर थाना, पशुपालन विभाग, नगरपालिका में किया पौधारोपण
गन्नौर थाना परिसर में थाना प्रभारी वजीर सिंह के नेतृत्व में पुलिस कर्मियों ने पौधारोपण की शुरूआत की। थाना परिसर में करीब 50 पौधे इसके अलावा शहर में विभिन्न स्थानों पर पुलिस द्वारा 250 पौधे रोपित किए गए। थाना प्रभारी वजीर सिंह ने कहा कि पौधा रोपण के साथ सभी पौधों की देखभाल करने की भी जिम्मदारी ली है। उधर नगरपालिका अधिकारियेां कर्मचारियों के द्वारा शहर में एक हजार पौधे लगाए गए। गढी केसरी, रेलवे पार्क, स्लाटर हाउस, डंपिंग जोन, खेल स्टेडियम में पौधे रोपित किए। पशुपालन विभाग के कर्मचारियों ने पशु चिकित्सक डा. संजय पाहवा के नेतृत्व में कार्यालय परिसर में करीब 35 हर्बल व छायादार पौधे रोपित किए। पौधे रोपित करते हुए सभी कर्मचारियों ने पौधों की देखभाल की भी जिम्मदारी ली। वीएलडीए सुनील कुमार, आनंद सिंह, राकेश दत्त, पशु परिचर पूजा, स्वाति, अनिल, विरेंद्र आदि मौजूद रहे।
