हरियाणा कुश्ती संघ के अध्यक्ष और सांसद दीपेंद्र हुड्डा ने आज दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे पर पहुँचकर पूरी दुनिया में भारत का मान बढ़ाने वाले ओलंपिक पदक विजेताओं का स्वागत किया और उन्हें गले लगकार जीत की बधाई दी। दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि पदक विजेता खिलाड़ी देश के असली हीरो हैं।

दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि खिलाड़ियों की वर्षों की मेहनत रंग लायी है, ओलंपिक मेडल जीतने के लिये कड़ी तपस्या करनी पड़ती है तब जाकर कहीं एक मेडल आता है। उन्होंने पहलवान रवि दहिया और बजरंग पुनिया से कहा कि अगला ओलंपिक 4 साल बाद नहीं बल्कि 3 साल बाद ही 2024 में पेरिस में होना है। इसलिए अब समय कम है, सभी खिलाड़ी अभी से देश के लिये सोना लाने की तैयारी में जी-जान से जुट जाएँ। दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने यह भी कहा कि हरियाणा के खिलाड़ियों ने पूरी दुनिया में देश व प्रदेश का डंका बजाया है।
