चाईल्ड वैल्फेयर कमेटी ने 10 वर्षीय गुमशुदा बालक के परिवार को ढूंढ़ निकालने के लिए पुलिस को मामला दर्ज कर कार्रवाई के लिए पत्र लिखा है। जिला बाल संरक्षण कार्यालय से भी सहयोग की अपील की है।

सीडब्ल्यूसी की सदस्य बबीता पालीवाल ने बताया कि सिक्योरिटी गार्ड बलवान को दस वर्षीय दीपक पुत्र शिवजीत देवीलाल कालोनी में लावारिस हालत में मिला। पूछने पर दीपक ने बताया कि वह बेगूसराय निवासी है। दीपक ने बलवान से मदद की गुहार लगाई। बलवान ने दीपक को सिटी पुलिस थाना पहुंचाया। सिटी पुलिस थाना ने उन्हें पहले बच्चे को सीडब्ल्यूसी के पास ले जाने का कहा तो बलवान फिर दीपक को लघु सचिवालय स्थित सीडब्ल्यूसी कार्यालय लेकर आया।
सीडब्ल्यूसी की चेयरपर्सन अनीता शर्मा के निर्देशन में सदस्य पूनम शर्मा, रितु, सुनीता व बबीता ने दीपक को उसके परिवार को खेजने के लिए प्रयास शुरु कर दिये हैं। सेक्टर-23 पुलिस चौकी को इस मामले में पत्र लिखा मामला दर्ज करवाया है। सीडब्ल्यूसी ने जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी डा. रितु को कहा है कि वे बेगूसराय की जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी से संपर्क स्थापित करें।
