प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने महाराष्ट्र के पूर्व गृह मंत्री अनिल देशमुख के खिलाफ एक रुपये के मामले में लुकआउट सर्कुलर (एलओसी) जारी किया है। 100 करोड़ के मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले ने उन्हें अपने मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देने के लिए मजबूर किया था।
नई दिल्ली: प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने महाराष्ट्र के पूर्व गृह मंत्री अनिल देशमुख के खिलाफ एक रुपये के मामले में लुकआउट सर्कुलर (एलओसी) जारी किया है। 100 करोड़ के मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले ने उन्हें अपने मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देने के लिए मजबूर किया था। एक लुक आउट सर्कुलर पूर्व मंत्री को देश छोड़ने से रोकेगा, अब, हवाई अड्डों, बंदरगाहों और सड़क सीमाओं पर आव्रजन अधिकारियों को अनिल देशमुख को भारत छोड़ने की कोशिश करने की स्थिति में हिरासत में लेने के लिए अधिकृत किया जाता है। यह कदम तब आया है जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पिछले महीने मुकदमे में देशमुख को दंडात्मक कार्रवाई से अंतरिम राहत देने से इनकार कर दिया था।
ईडी ने अनिल देशमुख और अन्य के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया था जब सीबीआई ने मुंबई के पूर्व पुलिस आयुक्त परम बीर सिंह के 100 करोड़ रुपये के रिश्वत के आरोपों से जुड़े कथित भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में मामला दर्ज किया था। देशमुख उस समय महाविकास अघाड़ी सरकार में गृह मंत्री थे। देशमुख, ईडी द्वारा कई समन के लिए पेश नहीं हुए थे और दावा किया था कि परमबीर सिंह ने उनके खिलाफ मुंबई पुलिस आयुक्त के पद से हटाए जाने के लिए बनाया था।

ईडी ने जेल में बंद एक पुलिस अधिकारी, मामले के आरोपी सचिन वाजे के दो बयान दर्ज किए हैं और एजेंसी अब इस संबंध में परब से पूछताछ कर सकती है। वेज़ को राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआईए) ने अरबपति मुकेश अंबानी के मुंबई स्थित घर के बाहर विस्फोटकों से लदी एक वाहन की खोज के सिलसिले में गिरफ्तार किया था। वेज़ ने पहले एक पत्र में आरोप लगाया था कि परब ने उन्हें जनवरी 2021 में मुंबई नगर निकाय में सूचीबद्ध “धोखाधड़ी” ठेकेदारों की जांच करने और उनसे कम से कम 2 करोड़ रुपये लेने के लिए कहा था। वेज़ ने मांग की थी कि पत्र को अदालत में पेश किया जाए। परब ने वेज़ को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि वह इस मामले की जांच के लिए तैयार हैं।
सीबीआई ने बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट के आदेश के आधार पर 21 अप्रैल, 2021 को अनिल देशमुख के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज की थी। देशमुख बार-बार अपने खिलाफ किसी भी आरोप से इनकार कर चुके हैं। ईडी ने अनिल देशमुख के निजी सचिव और निजी सहायक को मुंबई और नागपुर में और एनसीपी नेता पर छापेमारी के बाद गिरफ्तार किया है। जांच रिपोर्ट लीक होने को लेकर सीबीआई ने उनके दामाद से पहले पूछताछ की थी।
