पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा है कि बरोदा में सिर्फ एक उप-चुनाव नहीं है। यह मौजूदा सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ रायशुमारी है। बरोदा का चुनाव हरियाणा की राजनीति के भविष्य को तय करेगा। बरोदा में कांग्रेस की जीत गठबंधन सरकार की जड़े हिला देगी। इसी के साथ मौजूदा सरकार की उल्टी गिनती शुरू हो जाएगी।
भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने पत्रकारों से बात कर रहे थे। उन्होंने बताया कि महम चुनाव की याद कीजिए सिर्फ एक चुनाव पूरी सरकार को उखाड़ने की काबिलियत रखता है, जिस तरह से महम के बाद चौटाला सरकार सत्ता से बाहर हो गई थी उसी तरह बरोदा के बाद बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार सत्ता से बाहर हो जाएगी ।
बीजेपी ने 100-100 गज के प्लाट व मकान के लिए 91 हजार राशि और दाल-रोटी योजना को बंद किया। बीजेपी ने अंबेडकर छात्रवृति योजना का बजट घटाया, मनरेगा का बजट कम किया, बरोदा परिणाम के बाद शुरू होगी बीजेपी-जेजेपी सरकार की उल्टी गिनती। उन्होंने अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान के काम को गिनवाया 10 से ज्यादा 33 केवी व 133 केवी का एक पावर, 10 जलघर, 20 ट्यूबवेल, लगभग हर गांव में बूस्टर पंप लगाए, 20 से ज्यादा गांव में स्टेडियमों बनवाये, महिला विश्वविद्यालय, 500 बेड के महिला मेडिकल कॉलेज के साथ बरोदा हलके में सात सीएचसी और पीएचसी बनवाई। सिंचाई के लिए महीने में कम से कम 15 दिन पानी दिया, सभी ड्रेनों की सफाई करवाई और आखिरी टेल तक पानी पहुंचाया। कथूरा और मुंडलाना में वीईआई और बुटाना में जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय बनवाया गया। दर्जनों नये स्कूल बनाये एवम् अपग्रेड किए गए।
उन्होंने बीजेपी से सवाल पूछे हैं पिछले 6 साल में कोई स्कूल, कॉलेज, यूनिवर्सिटी, अस्पताल, मेडिकल कॉलेज, पावर हाऊस, आईएमटी, रेलवे लाइन, रोड व पुल और बिजली पानी के लिए कोई सुधारकिया हो या उद्घाटन की कोई ईंट लगाई हो। इलेक्शन कि झूठी घोषणाओ को छोड़कर।
हुड्डा ने कहा कि अपने 10 साल के कार्यकाल में 9 विश्वविद्यालय खोले। सोनीपत लोकसभा क्षेत्र में भारत सरकार के राष्ट्रीय स्तर के 4 शिक्षण संस्थान खोले। आरजीईसी में आईआईटी दिल्ली का कैंपस, केंद्र सरकार का एनआईएफटीईएम सोनीपत में, खानपुर कलां में आजादी के बाद का उत्तर भारत का पहला मेडिकल कॉलेज खुलवाया, सोनीपत लोकसभा क्षेत्र में 114 स्कूल अपग्रेड करवाए। सोनीपत, गोहाना, जींद रेलवे लाइन को मंजूर करवाकर उसका निर्माण करवाया। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ने उत्तर प्रदेश के हाथरस में दलित युवती के साथ हुई दुष्कर्म की घटना की निंदा करते हुए जल्द से आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर सजा देने की भी मांग की।
