पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि किसानों की अनदेखी करने वालों को किसान अच्छी तरह सबक सिखाना जानते हैं। इसलिए जो किसान को सताने का काम करेगा, किसान उसे सत्ता से हटाने का काम करेगा। हुड्डा आज यमुनानगर के नौवीं पातशाही गुरू तेग बहादुर थड़ा साहिब गुरुद्वारा में आयोजित शहीदी दिवस समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पहुंचे थे।

पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि किसानों की अनदेखी करने वालों को किसान अच्छी तरह सबक सिखाना जानते हैं। इसलिए जो किसान को सताने का काम करेगा, किसान उसे सत्ता से हटाने का काम करेगा। हुड्डा आज यमुनानगर के नौवीं पातशाही गुरू तेग बहादुर थड़ा साहिब गुरुद्वारा में आयोजित शहीदी दिवस समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पहुंचे थे।
कार्यक्रम के बाद पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आंदोलनरत किसानों की मांगे पूरी तरह जायज़ हैं। सरकार को बिना देरी किए उनकी मांग माननी चाहिए और आंदोलन को ख़त्म करवाना चाहिए। कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान हमने किसानों को उनकी फसलों का उचित रेट देने और उन्हें कर्ज मुक्त करने के लिए कई कदम उठाए थे।

हमारी सरकार ने प्रदेश में किसानों के 2136 करोड़ रुपये के कर्ज़े माफ़ किए थे। साथ ही 1600 करोड़ के बिजली बिल माफ़ करने का ऐतिहासिक फ़ैसला भी किया था। फसली ऋण पर ब्याज को ख़त्म कर शून्य फ़ीसदी कर दिया था, जो कि पहले 12 फ़ीसदी तक हुआ करता था। इतना ही नहीं कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान खाद, बीज और कृषि उपकरणों पर किसी तरह का कोई टैक्स नहीं लगता था।
धान का रेट एमएसपी के पार
मारी सरकार के दौरान धान का रेट एमएसपी के पार 5000 रुपये तक पहुंच गया था। पोपुलर भी 1250 रुपये के रेट पर ख़रीदा जाता था। पोपुलर के पत्ते तक इतने महंगे बिकते थे कि किसान अपनी बेटियों की शादी का ख़र्च जुटा लेते थे। कपास और गन्ने का रेट देश में सबसे ज़्यादा था। जबकि बीजेपी सरकार आने के बाद 6 साल में गन्ने के रेट में बमुश्किल 40 रुपये ही इज़ाफ़ा हुआ है।
पेट्रोल, डीज़ल और रसोई गैस बढ़कर दोगुना
सरकार फसलों का रेट बढ़ाने की बजाए पेट्रोल, डीज़ल और रसोई गैस का दाम बढ़ाने में लगी है। तेल के दामों का सीधा कनेक्शन महंगाई से है। ज़ाहिर है अगर तेल के दाम बढ़ेंगे तो ट्रांसपोर्ट किराया, परिवहन, आवागमन, व्हीकल चलाना और उत्पादन महंगा हो जाएगा। उनकी सरकार के दौरान हरियाणा में तेल सबसे सस्ता था, क्योंकि उसपर वैट कम था। उस समय डीजल पर वैट 9 प्रतिशत था, बीजेपी राज में बढ़कर दोगुना हो गया है। पेट्रोल, डीज़ल और रसोई गैस जैसी ज़रूरी चीज़ें आम आदमी की पहुंच दूर होते जा रही हैं।
