ओलंपिक जाने वाली राही सरनोबत ने सोमवार को यहां आईएसएसएफ निशानेबाजी विश्व कप में महिलाओं की 25 मीटर पिस्टल में स्वर्ण पदक जीतने के लिए सनसनीखेज फॉर्म का प्रदर्शन किया, लेकिन किशोर सनसनी मनु भाकर उसी स्पर्धा में सातवें स्थान पर रहीं। देश ने टूर्नामेंट में पहले एक रजत और दो कांस्य पदक हासिल करने के बाद सरनोबत का स्वर्ण मौजूदा संस्करण में भारत का पहला स्वर्ण है।
एसएस न्यूज.ओसियेक (क्रोएशिया)।ओलंपिक जाने वाली राही सरनोबत ने सोमवार को यहां आईएसएसएफ निशानेबाजी विश्व कप में महिलाओं की 25 मीटर पिस्टल में स्वर्ण पदक जीतने के लिए सनसनीखेज फॉर्म का प्रदर्शन किया, लेकिन किशोर सनसनी मनु भाकर उसी स्पर्धा में सातवें स्थान पर रहीं। देश ने टूर्नामेंट में पहले एक रजत और दो कांस्य पदक हासिल करने के बाद सरनोबत का स्वर्ण मौजूदा संस्करण में भारत का पहला स्वर्ण है।
30 वर्षीय सरनोबत ने कुल 591 के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर क्वालीफाई करने के बाद 39 का अंतिम स्कोर बनाया। फाइनल में उनके शानदार प्रदर्शन में तीसरी, चौथी, पांचवीं और छठी श्रृंखला में सही स्कोर शामिल थे। रजत फ्रांस के मथिल्डे लामोले को मिला, जिन्होंने फाइनल में 31 रन बनाए।

क्वालिफिकेशन में सरनोबत ने सोमवार को रैपिड फायर राउंड में शानदार 296 रन बनाए। उसका सटीक स्कोर रविवार को समान रूप से प्रभावशाली 295 था। भाकर ने रविवार को प्रिसिजन राउंड में 292 के प्रभावशाली प्रदर्शन के बाद सोमवार को रैपिड फायर राउंड में 296 रन बनाकर तीसरे स्थान पर पहुंचने के लिए कुल 588 का रिकॉर्ड बनाया।
