यह चिंता का विषय है
बाक ने कहा, ”मैं जानता हूं कि आपमें से कई के लिये यह चिंता का विषय है।”इसके बाद उन्होंने आईओसी की मुख्य संचालन अधिकारी लाना हदाद को इसका जवाब देने के लिये कहा और इसे विशेषज्ञ का उत्तर करार दिया। यह दस्तावेज पारंपरिक प्रवेश फार्म में शामिल किया गया है जिसमें ओलंपिक खिलाड़ियों को अनिवार्य रूप से हस्ताक्षर करने होंगे।
भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों को आम जनता से अलग थलग रखा जाएगा
हदाद ने कहा, ”यह वास्तव में पारदर्शिता और खेलों में भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों की सूचित सहमति सुनिश्चित करने के लिये किया गया है। बड़ी प्रतियोगिताओं के आयोजकों में इस तरह के प्रवेश फार्म का आम चलन है और यह भी उसी के अनुरूप है।” खिलाड़ियों के समूह का कहना है कि 23 जुलाई से आठ अगस्त के बीच होने वाले तोक्यो ओलंपिक खेलों में भाग लेने वाले 11,000 खिलाड़ियों पर बहुत अधिक जोखिम और जिम्मेदारी डाली जा रही है। आईओसी और जापान सरकार कहते रहे हैं कि खेल सुरक्षित होंगे क्योंकि इसमें भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों को आम जनता से अलग थलग रखा जाएगा।
