नई दिल्ली: 21वें भारत-रूस शिखर सम्मेलन के लिए आज रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन और भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के बीच मुलाकात होगी. नवंबर 2019 में ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन से इतर मुलाकात के बाद दोनों की यह पहली इन-पर्सन मीटिंग सोमवार को नई दिल्ली के हैदराबाद हाउस में होगी।

उशाकोव ने हालांकि समझौतों का नाम बताने से इनकार कर दिया क्योंकि उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें अंतिम रूप दिया जाना बाकी है। उन्होंने कहा, “वे अधिकांश विविध क्षेत्रों में द्विपक्षीय संबंधों के विकास के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं।”
विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता अरिंदम बागची ने कहा कि यह शिखर सम्मेलन दोनों देशों के रक्षा और विदेश मामलों के मंत्रियों के बीच पहली 2+2 मंत्रिस्तरीय वार्ता का भी गवाह बनेगा। रूसी विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव और उनके भारतीय समकक्ष डॉ एस जयशंकर और रूस के रक्षा मंत्री सर्गेई शोइगु और भारतीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह 6 दिसंबर को एक साथ बातचीत करेंगे।
इस पहले 2+2 प्रारूप संवाद में जिन क्षेत्रों पर चर्चा की जाएगी, उनमें द्विपक्षीय, क्षेत्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्दे शामिल होंगे, जिसमें तालिबान के बाद अफगानिस्तान की स्थिति, आतंकवादी समूहों से उत्पन्न खतरे, अल्पसंख्यकों, महिलाओं और बच्चों के मानवाधिकारों की सुरक्षा शामिल है।
