साउथ ब्लॉक के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, हॉट स्प्रिंग्स (गश्त 14) और गोगरा (गश्ती बिंदु 17A) पर चर्चा करने का निर्णय 25 जून को भारत-चीन सीमा मामलों पर परामर्श और समन्वय के लिए कार्य तंत्र की वर्चुअल बैठक में लिया गया था।
दो घर्षण बिंदु, जो क्रमशः कुगरांग नदी और चांग केमो नदी के पास हैं, को PLA द्वारा 17-18 मई, 2020 को पैंगोंग त्सो के उत्तरी तट के अलावा पार कर लिया गया था।
डौलेट बेग ओल्डी के दक्षिण में देपसांग बुलगे के 2013 के घर्षण बिंदु को वरिष्ठ सैन्य कमांडरों द्वारा नहीं लिया जाएगा, लेकिन स्थानीय कमांडरों के स्तर पर निपटा जाएगा। अप्रैल 2013 में, पीएलए ने भारतीय सेना को उभार क्षेत्र के भीतर गश्ती बिंदुओं 10 से 13 ए को रोकने के उद्देश्य से राकी और जीवन नाले के माध्यम से स्थानांतरित किया।
