हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने शनिवार को दहिया कालोनी में सीवरेज व्यवस्था को बेहतर करने के लिए सीवर लाइन के कार्य का शुभारंभ किया। अमरूत योजना के तहत यह कार्य पूरा किया जाएगा,इस पर लगभग दो करोड़ रुपये की लागत आएगी।
सीवरेज लाइन डालने के कार्य की शुरुआत के मौके पर भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता राजीव जैन ने कहा कि अमरूत योजना से शहर की कायापलट हो जाएगी। पानी की मांग और गंदे पानी की निकासी संबंधी समस्याओं से पूर्ण रूप से छुटकारा मिलेगा। सरकार ने अपने पिछले कार्यकाल मेंं अमरूत योजना प्रारंभ की थी, जिसके तहत सोनीपत में पेयजल व सीवरेज व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए करोड़ों रुपये के कार्य स्वीकृत किये गये। इन पर तीव्रता से काम किया जा रहा है। कोरोना काल मेंं इन कार्यों को कुछ समय के लिए रोकना पड़ा, किंतु अब पुन: इन्हें प्रारंभ कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि कालोनी में वे करीब 12 लाख 75 हजार रुपये की लागत से 8.5 किलोमीटर लंबी पेयजल पाइप लाइन डलवा चुके हैं, जिससे सैंकड़ों लोगों को लाभ मिला। उन्होंने जानकारी दी कि सेक्टर-23 में वाटर प्लांट स्थापित किया जा रहा है, जिसका निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण होने के बाद आसपास के क्षेत्रों में पेयजल की कोई समस्या नहीं रहेगी। प्लांट की स्थापना के बाद कालोनीवासियों को प्लांट के माध्यम से ही पेयजल की आपूर्ति की जाएगी। सतपाल, महेश, हरिराम पांचाल, नरेश वर्मा, मंडलाध्यक्ष मनोज गोयल, श्याम, सतनारायण गहलावत, काशीराम, श्याम सिंह, ईश्वर सिंह, लख्मीचंद, सोनू और दिलबाग आदि गणमान्य व्यक्ति मौजूद थे।
