सांसद दीपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने इस मौके पर कहा कि मुलायम सिंह यादव जी के परिवार से हमेशा हुड्डा परिवार के घनिष्ठ संबंध रहे हैं। मुलायम सिंह यादव जी के जाने से हिन्दुस्तान की राजनीति में जो शून्यता उत्पन्न हुई है उसकी भरपाई संभव नहीं है। उन्होंने अपने देश, प्रदेश, किसान और नौजवानों के लिए महान संघर्ष किया है।

चंडीगढ़ः पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने आज सैफई पहुँच कर दिग्गज राजनेता और अपने पुराने मित्र मुलायम सिंह यादव जी को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। हुड्डा के साथ राज्यसभा सांसद दीपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा, वरिष्ठ नेता राज बब्बर, हरियाणा कांग्रेस के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र भारद्वाज, विधायक राव दान सिंह और पूर्व विधायक करण सिंह दलाल भी मौजूद रहे। सैफई पहुंच कर सभी नेताओं ने मुलायम सिंह यादव को नमन किया और दिवंगत आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की।
पत्रकारों से बातचीत में भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि राजनीति में केंद्रीय मंत्री और मुख्यमंत्री जैसे उच्च पदों पर तक पहुंचने के बावजूद मुलायम सिंह यादव हमेशा जमीन और कार्यकर्ताओं से जुड़े रहे। राजनीतिक प्रतिद्वंदिता के बावजूद तमाम दलों के नेताओं के साथ उनके व्यक्तिगत संबंध हमेशा मधुर रहे। उनके निधन से देश की राजनीति में जो स्थान रिक्त हुआ है, उसकी पूर्ति असंभव है।
