हरियाणा पुलिस को ड्रग्स के खिलाफ विशेष अभियान में मिली कामयाबी,एक माह में 451 मामले दर्ज
नशे के अवैध कारोबार में लिप्त 567 आरोपी गिरफ्तार, 3176 किलो मादक पदार्थ किया जब्त

हरियाणा पुलिस द्वारा नशे के अवैध कारोबार के खिलाफ चलाए गए प्रदेशव्यापी अभियान के दौरान एक माह में 451 मामले दर्ज किए गए। इस दौरान नशे के अवैध करोबार में लिप्त 567 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। साथ ही लगभग 3176 किलोग्राम मादक पदार्थ तथा 2 लाख 24 हजार नशीली प्रतिबंधित दवाओं को जब्त किया गया। नशा तस्करों को उनके अंजाम तक पहुंचाने के लिए 16 जुलाई से 16 अगस्त, 2020 तक यह कार्रवाई की गई।
पुलिस महानिदेशक (डीजीपी) हरियाणा, श्री मनोज यादव ने आज यहां यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि राज्य सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप पुलिस ने प्रदेश में ड्रग्स और नशे के अवैध कारोबार के खिलाफ अभियान चलाकर कार्रवाई की जा रही है। नशे के प्रति जीरो टोलरेंस पर काम करते हुए इस खतरे को जड़ से खत्म करना हमारी प्राथमिकता है। पुलिस नशे की सप्लाई चेन को खत्म करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोडग़ी तथा समाज से इस बुराई को पूरी तरह से खत्म किया जाएगा।
डीजीपी ने बताया कि इस दौरान पुलिस ने 2115 किलो गांजा, 104 किलो 992 ग्राम चरस/सुल्फा, 34 किलो 176 ग्राम अफीम, 917 किलो चूरा पोस्त, 2 किलो 316 ग्राम स्मैक और 973 ग्राम हेरोइन जब्त की गई। इसी प्रकार, 2.05 लाख से अधिक प्रतिबंधित नशीली गोलियां, 18078 कैप्सूल, 100 इंजेक्शन और 1461 बोतल सिरप भी जब्त की गई।
मादक पदार्थ की सर्वाधिक बरामदगी करने वालों में पलवल से 950 किलो गांजा, जींद से 270 किलो गांजा, 500 किलो चूरा पोस्त, 1.875 किलो स्मैक और 70500 नशीली गोलियां, हिसार से 200 किलो गांजा, सोनीपत में 35 किलो चरस और रोहतक जिले से 1 किलो 400 ग्राम स्मैक शामिल है।
जिला पुलिस प्रमुखों ने की प्रभावी कार्रवाई
डीजीपी ने ड्रग पेडलर्स के खिलाफ जंग में जिला पुलिस प्रमुखों और उनकी टीमों के प्रयासों की भी सराहना करते हुए कहा कि एक माह में भारी मात्रा में मादक पदार्थों की बरामदगी पुलिस की कड़ी मेहनत और प्रभावी ढंग से की गई कार्रवाई के कारण ही संभव हो पाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि नशा तस्करी के खिलाफ अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा।
