पीएम मोदी ने मंगलवार को अपने गोरखपुर दौरे के दौरान 9,600 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किया। परियोजनाओं में एक उर्वरक संयंत्र, एम्स गोरखपुर और आईसीएमआर-क्षेत्रीय चिकित्सा अनुसंधान केंद्र शामिल हैं। गोरखपुर में विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन करते हुए, पीएम मोदी ने कहा, “जब कोई सरकार उत्पीड़ित और वंचित वर्गों की चिंता करती है, तो वह कड़ी मेहनत करती है और परिणाम भी देती है। गोरखपुर में आज का कार्यक्रम इस बात का प्रमाण है कि कुछ भी नहीं है नए भारत के लिए असंभव है जब वह दृढ़ हो जाए।
तीन प्रमुख परियोजनाओं में से एक गोरखपुर उर्वरक संयंत्र को 30 साल बाद पुनर्जीवित किया जा रहा है। संयंत्र 8,600 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाया गया है और 12.7 एलएमटी यूरिया का उत्पादन करेगा जो पूर्वी यूपी के किसानों को लाभान्वित करेगा और पूरे पूर्वांचल क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास को बढ़ावा देगा।
प्रधानमंत्री स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा योजना के बैनर तले आज एम्स गोरखपुर का भी उद्घाटन हुआ। इस परियोजना से यूपी, बिहार और नेपाल तक के लोगों को स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्रदान करने की उम्मीद है। “गोरखपुर में एक उर्वरक संयंत्र और एम्स की शुरुआत कई संदेश दे रही है। जब डबल इंजन वाली सरकार होती है, तो काम दोगुनी गति से होता है। जब ईमानदार इरादे से काम किया जाता है, तो आपदाएं भी बाधा नहीं बन सकतीं।
लाइन में तीसरी बड़ी परियोजना आईसीएमआर का क्षेत्रीय चिकित्सा अनुसंधान केंद्र है जो संचारी और गैर-संचारी रोगों में अनुसंधान के नए क्षितिज खोलेगा और क्षेत्र के अन्य चिकित्सा संस्थानों के लिए सहायता प्रदान करेगा।
