दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, मुरथल के कुलपति प्रो.राजेंद्र कुमार अनायत ने कहा कि गीता जयंती के अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय पांच दिन निरंतर कार्यक्रमों में विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालय से विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान देंगे।
कुलपति प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा कुशाभाऊ ठाकरे पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विश्वविद्यालय, रायपुर के कुलपति प्रो.बलदेव भाई शर्मा, महर्षि वाल्मीकि संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, कैथल के कुलपति प्रो.श्रेयांश दिवेदी व वे स्वयं गीता जयंती के कार्यक्रमों में व्याख्यान देंगे।
वरेण्य के संस्थापक एवं अध्यक्ष डा.कमलाकांत बहुगुणा ने कहा कि श्रीमद्भगवदगीता संघर्ष में विजय गाथा का नाम है। श्रीमद्भगवदगीता में हमें पता चलता है कि हम युद्ध बाहरी शक्तियों से नहीं,अपितु अंदर की कमजोरियों के कारण पराजित होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि युद्ध किसी भी संघर्ष का अंतिम समाधान नहीं होता। श्रीमद्भगवदगीता के पीछे बहुत सारे इतिहास की पृष्ठभूमि है, मानवीय मूल्यों में गिरावट, वैदिक संस्कृति का ह्रास व पुत्रमोह जैसे महान कारण विद्यमान थे।
वरेण्य के संस्थापक एवं अध्यक्ष डा.बहुगुणा ने कहा कि कृष्ण का अर्थ है कि हर परिस्थितियों में कर्म करते हुए मानव को आशक्ति से रहित रहना है, श्रीकृष्ण प्रतिक्रिया की अपेक्षा जिम्मेदारी पूर्वक पहल करने को प्राथमिकता देते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि श्री कृष्ण कभी परिस्थितियों के लिए दूसरों को कारण नहीं मानते हैं, अपितु हर परिस्थिति के जिम्मेवार आप स्वयं हैं। विराट दर्शन में भी श्रीकृष्ण का उपदेश है कि तुम बाहर की तरफ मत देखों, बल्कि अपने अंदर अपने उस विराट ज्योति से अपनी आत्म अग्नि को जाग्रत करों और वहां से मार्गदशर्न लो, वहीं से सुरक्षा लो वहीं से शक्ति प्राप्त करों और वहीं से बुद्धि प्राप्त करो। अर्थात आपके अंदर ही समाधान है।
वरेण्य के संस्थापक एवं अध्यक्ष डा.बहुगुणा ने कहा कि वर्तमान परिस्थितयों में दुर्योधन का चरित्र वर्तमान समय के राजनेताओं के लिए महान सबक है। गुरु पुत्र अश्वश्तथामा ने दुर्याधन ने से कहा हे मित्र तुमने कर्ण का जौहर देख लिया, वह कुछ नहीं कर पाया, अब मैं पांडवों से रहित इस धरती को करुंगा। तब दुर्योधन ने कहा कि हे गुरुपुत्र तुमने पहले प्रतिज्ञा की थी कि जब तक कर्ण युद्ध में जीवित है तब तक मैं युद्ध नहीं करूंगा। अब तुम एक और प्रतिज्ञा कर लो कि जब तक दर्योधन जीवित है तब तक भी तुम युद्ध नहीं करोगे। तुम और अर्जुन एक जैसे हो। उन्होंने कहा कि अर्जुन ने मेरे मित्र का भौतिक शरीर नष्ट किया है और तुम उसके कीर्ति रुपी शरीर को नष्ट कर रहे हैं। मेरे मित्र का शत्रु अर्जुन यदि मुझे स्राम्राज्य लौटा दे तो उसे में नहीं लूंगा। तुम्हारे शौर्य से जीता हुआ साम्राज्य स्वीकार करना मेरे लिए निम्न कर्म के समान है। कार्यक्रम के अंत में कुलसचिव डा.आर.डी.कौशिक ने कहा कि हमें श्रीकृष्ण के दिखाए पथ पर चलकर ही हम मानवता का कल्याण कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा आयोजित कराए जा रहे व्याख्यानों से सबको लाभ मिलेगा। कार्यक्रम में प्रो.अशोक कुमार शर्मा, प्रो.सुखदीप सिंह, प्रो.सुमन सांगवान, डा.प्रदीप सिंह, ओके दहिया, मोहित, सोनू सैनी, आदि ने भी भाग लिया।
