आठ बर्ष की अल्प आयु में पिता का छाया उठा, ऊपर आस्मा नीचे जमी थी, ज्येष्ठ भ्राता ने आशिर्वाद दिया, पढ़ने और पढ़ाने का!!

कवि होना खेल नहीं, वो सबसे अलग निराला था,
अद्भुत साहस वाला था, वो अद्भुत तेवर वाला था!!
एक मनुष्य का होना भाग्य है,
एक कवि होना सौभाग्य है!!
आठ बर्ष की अल्प आयु में पिता का छाया उठा,
ऊपर आस्मा नीचे जमी थी,
ज्येष्ठ भ्राता ने आशिर्वाद दिया,
पढ़ने और पढ़ाने का!!
पन्द्रहा किलोमीटर यात्रा प्रतिदिन,
कर गंगा पार पढ़ने जाता,
देख अद्भूत दृष्य प्रकृती का,
कविता का आकार बनाता,
तब से कवि ह्रदय में जागा था!!
बारा बर्ष आयु में लिखी प्रथम कविता,
माँ शारदे ने अमर आषिश दिया,
लग्न लगी साहित्य पढ़ने की,
साहित्य से कभी विमुख ना रहा!!
घर संसार का बोझा ढोने निकला,
निर्भय निडर होकर अकेला,
दो दशक सरकारी नौकरी करी,
कविता लिखता रहा देश हित में,
अंग्रेजो ने बदली करी बार बार,
फिर भी हिम्मत ना हारा था!!
रमता जोगी बहता पानी, कर्मयोग रखता बाँहों में,
होकर जैसे मील का पत्थर, चलता है वो राजनिती विरोध में!!
मुँह पर चमक आँख में करुणा, संस्कार का धनी था वो,
बांधे से वह बंधाता नहीं, नहीं घिरा वो राजनिती घेरे से,
जलता रहा दिया-सा हरदम, लड़ता रहा वह समाज गरीबी से!!
राजनिती के आगे झुका नहीं वो, नेता बड़ा देख रुका नहीं,
चलता रहा सदा राजनिती विरुद्घ में, थका नहीं वो रुका नहीं!!
गाँव देहात का रहने वाला, तीव्र तेवर वाला था,
वेगवान प्रगतिशील था, नये विचारों वाला था!!
जाति-धर्म से ऊपर उठ कर, खुल कर वो लिखता था,
पक्ष विपक्ष सबसे उसका, भाई-चारा का नाता था!!

जिसकी हर कविता हमारी आँख खोलने वाली है!!
जीवन के अंतिम पड़ाव में इच्छा जाहिर करी थी,
तिरुपति बालाजी के दर्शन पाने की,
मंदिर प्रांगण में एक अंतिम कविता सुनाई थी,
रामेश्वर कर दर्शन समन्दर से वर एक मांगा था,
देह छोड़ प्राण वही त्यागा था!!
हिन्दी का सुरज रामेश्वर के समन्दर में डूब गया,
एक साहित्यिक हमसे सदा के लिए बिछुड़ गया,
यादें अन्नत भारतवासियों को दे गया!!
उमर ही कम पाई थी भाई मेरे,
गरीबी समाज की भगाने आया था,
अब स्वर्गलोक में आसन पाया,
नाम अमर कर दीनो कवि दिनकर भारत में छाया है!!
कुछ लोग आज भी कहते है कि…..
कविता समय बर्बाद करती है,
यह क्या कम है कि……
कवि जाने के बाद दुनिया याद करती है!!
आज भी स्मर्ण हमे होता है,
कवि कुळ के स्वर्गवासी कवियों का,
ग्रन्थ महान दे गये हमे,
प्रेरणा पाकर हम सजग ज्ञान पाते है!!
