नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: राष्ट्रीय जनता दल प्रमुख (राजद) लालू प्रसाद यादव को आज रांची की एक विशेष सीबीआई अदालत ने डोरंडा कोषागार मामले में 5 साल की कैद की सजा सुनाई है। न्यायाधीश एस के शशि ने वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के जरिए सजा का ऐलान किया।
राजद प्रमुख को विशेष सीबीआई अदालत ने भारतीय दंड संहिता (आईपीसी) की धारा 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 के तहत साजिश से संबंधित धारा 120 बी और भ्रष्टाचार रोकथाम अधिनियम की धारा 13 (2) के तहत दोषी ठहराया था। अदालत ने 15 फरवरी को बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री लालू प्रसाद समेत 38 आरोपियों को अपराध का दोषी करार दिया था।
डोरंडा ट्रेजरी घोटाला डोरंडा ट्रेजरी से 139.35 करोड़ रुपये की अवैध निकासी से संबंधित है, और इसे देश का सबसे बड़ा चारा घोटाला माना जाता है।
